Rate The Wrestler - Day 153 - Van Hammer
Hey yo, and wlcome to the 153rd edition of Rate The Wrestler. Yesterday, "Mr. Aguila" Essa Rios scored a 76. There was one vote I almost didn't count, which would have put the score to 79, but meh. Anyway, today we have a former member of Raven's Flock. From what I recall, his finisher was a stiff spinebuster and for a while, he was a sort of hippy/stoner guy. Here is Van Hammer.

OK, so Hammer isn't a masterpiece in the ring, but he isn't the shits either. From what I understand, he is also a pretty good trainer. I give him the 6.5 for his total time with WCW, from the original Van Hammer gimmick in WCW's early comic-book type days, to the Flock version, to his hippie character, to being with The MIA. His name is Hammer.

It's been such a long time since I've seen him that I can't really remember if he sucked or not... I remember him using either Cobra Clutch Slam or Full Nelson Slam as finisher though when played that hippie character...
