I'm staking my claim right now: First Official Ken Anderson Mark

This week Ken Anderson debuted on Velocity, and I swear it is worth the time to check this guy out. He was so awesome. I knew roughly what he was going to do, but when he did it he made me into a life-long fan. Congradulations, Mr Anderson.

Velocity itself in general was a brilliant show this week.

Paul London and Frankie Kazarian put on the most exciting match I've seen in a long-time. I'm not too sure yet, but I'm willing to believe that the reports of cruisers being told to slow down is bullshit. Great match, and I'm loving that Irish whip reversal London's pulling out these days. If you watched Velocity last week, or if you watch this week you'll know what I mean.

Jimmy Jacobs was on, and he and Nunzio put on a nice showing. Jacobs' attire is awesome, as is Josh Mathews' commentating. Mathews and Jonathan Coachman are the future of the booth in this company, and they would make a near perfect announce team if you ask me. Coach is especially good at making you care about the performer, highlighting their attributes and really hitting some home runs as far as being an honest and believeable voice are concerned (I love it when Coach says Val is extremely talented, but needs to lose the gimmick and start focusing to be sucessful, and then there was when La Resistance was feuding and Todd Grisham asked Coach who he thought was the better member of the team, and The Coach flat-out told him "Rob Conway".), and Mathews has a great knowledge of the acual wrestling side and the backgrounds of each performer. Plus he finally connected Paul London's mushroom stomp to Super Mario, which was awesome to hear.

London is now wearing "Pac-Man" attire, with an "L" taking the place of Pac-Man. Plus he is seemingly going through with a "mid-career crisis" type angle. I am personally impressed with his promo ability.

Oh, and Velocity had it's own little "Last Week" highlight video with Nunzio winning the Cruiserweight Title being highlighted.

Steven Richards and Hardcore Holly also squared-off, and I dunno, there is just something so awesome about Steven Richards coming out dressed as "Big Stevie Cool" to his "I'll Show You, You'll See" theme and playing the heel in a match. It seemed to really fit in with his character, and it made it seem like he was slightly confused, and I could even see a little bit of "I don't need The Blue Meanie and Hollywood Nova" arrogance in his performance tonight.

It was just a genius show, and I really think Velocity was the best show put out by the WWE this week. Of course they need to lose the recap bits, but apart from that, it was perfectly awesome, IMO.

Pfft

Yeah, Mr. Anderson is pretty dang awesome. I first saw him at an OVW house show I went to and I was a fan from that moment on.

This is the first-time the WWE has brought in someone successfully for a long time, and I think part of that has to do with Ken Anderson's natural ability as a promo guy, and a ring guy.

I am seriously convincing myself this guy could be the megastar of the WWE. He came in, got heel heat, but was so awesome he ended up getting cheered by some.

I'm probably jumping the gun as far as things are concerned, but I marked out for this guy, so all is good.

I am glad to hear there are other "Fandersons" our there.

The only thing i am seeing wrong with this is that WWE "we get paid too damn much to be not-so" Creative will more than likely give him some shitty gimmick just to piss us off

Judging by his promo on Velocity, I think we've finally found a semi-interesting gimmick. It doesn't narrow Mr Anderson's scope at all. I can personally imagine him coming out every week and doing that, or some other test or little thing that turns out to be highly entertaining. For some reason, i can image him "quizzing" Steve Romero on his knowledge of the business, where if Romero gets an answer wrong, he gets the crap beaten out of him.

Seriously, watch Funaki. This guy is gold. His wrong work wasn't "holiest of holies" but he was good, and he and Funaki puton an entertaining match, with an even more enertaining introduction and conclusion. See it, I'm begging you all. Join me as a Fanderson of Mr Anderson.

Funny how they're trying to help Velocity but completely forgetting about smackdown.
