Historical Baseball Question...
Yeah, with the whole NL West situation going on, everyone is talking about how everyone in the division might have sub-.500 records. But what I find more interesting is the NL East, where every team is above .500. Now I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but has there ever been a division that has had every team finish above .500? I'm pretty sure that would be a first if it happened this year, but I don't know for sure.

I can't imagine it would've happened before 1993 simply because there wouldn't be enough teams or divisions for it to be possible.

The Rangers were leading their divison with a sub 500 record until the work stoppage in 94 i believev cancelled the season

Yeah, they were 52-62. Ain't that some shit? Even THAT wouldn't be that close to first in the NL West this year.
