Just some questions to think about!

Just some things I think are weird about wrestling!

1. Why is it that if a wrestler isn't in a match situation it only takes one shot to 'knock them out' but they can kick out of the same move (after sustaining many more) in a match situation?

2. Why is point one especially true if said wrestler is a guest ref?

3. Don't you think the refs would wise up to the heel tactics in tag matches? After all this time surely they should be looking out for the 'illegal' switch, the double team, the tag rope choke, etc!

4. Why is it that decisions are only sometimes overturned? Maybe there should be some kind of governing body to keep rules on an even keel!

5. How is it possible that a ref can stop his had only centimetres from the mat if they don't know the wrestler is gonna kick out at the last second?

6. How come even the most secretive of backstage conversations are caught on camera?

7. And why do these moments usually occur between matches?

8. Why is it the ref counts to 5 when a wrestler is on the top rope but never disqualifies them?

9. How come the guy in charge of playing the music knows when a wrestler is making a 'surprise' apperance/interuption?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Feel free to add your questions!

10. How come regular refs can get bumped into and almost die, but a wrestler can survive the Three Amigos followed by getting jumped on by a 225 pound man?

To all of them: Dramatically appropriate.

To 9, also because most people come through a specific "entry" point, and thus have to pass through? While the building isn't the same one, they often treat it as though the backstage area is the same each time, and the production truck has been portrayed as near the entry. We're also supposed to believe that commentary and other wrestlers are not informed of the script, though it makes sense that security and production would know when someone shows up (except when drmatically appropriate, which usually involves the music hitting AFTER), even if wrestlers and even possibly management don't.

They even play up on the show at points that Lawler and Ross get the information late sometimes...

Dude, none of these are to be taken seriously!

Justifing them with answers is somewhat pointless!

I was meerly pointing out little quirks of the business!

Because in the WWE's dictionary, the word 'obvious' is replaced with 'irrational'.
