Wooo, heard it was the Kate Winslet one. You can download them all from torrent sites if you were interested.

But yes, it is great, Ricky Gervais is the fucking man.

He stole it from a scottish comedy duo. They had an idea for a new show that was actually the show "Extras" with a diffrent name. They asked Ricky Gervais to be in it as there first guest and he declined and then suddenly Ricky Gervais has his own show that just so happens to be the same idea as the show he was asked to be a guest on but declined.A few weeks/months later "Extras" pops up.
The comedy duo he stole the idea from where Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill creators of "Chewin' the Fat" and "Still Game".

Just some info there for you.

Blow me, Ricky Gervais is so fucking hilarious that even if it is true he did them a favour by making a superb version of what was no doubt a pretty horrendous version by them originally.

Well, granted, I don't know who they are, but I am willing to bet Gervais is much funnier.

Second episode is the best. Ross Kemps overacting makes it so good.

Somehow I doubt Dazz would find it funny.

But it's the first I've heard of Gervais nicking the idea from them.

Somehow doubt the Ross Kemp one will play well in the States since nobody will have a clue who he is. Same with Les Dennis.

Winslet one was the best by a country mile.

Nah the one with Barry from Eastenders was the best:

Agent: Do your serious
Barry: You love me janine, you do, I know you do
Agent: Do your funny
Barry: PAT! You've trodden on me foot, get off!
Agent: he sings too
Barry: MUSTANG SALLY
