Is this shit ever going to stop? Why can't these ignorant fucks just realise we(and by we I mean some of us, ok most of us......fine, all of us) don't like the product that CZW puts out??? I mean, besides his views on CZW and TNA....well, wrestling in general, I agreed with Mr. Sadistic(well, ok, only about our mutual hatred of John Cena). But c'mon ppl! We don't like CZW. Period. You need to give a better reason as to why you hate CZW, and not the usual "garbage wrestling, all ultraviolence, backyard, etc." type shit. Give some depth and backing to your opinions. Obviously not everyone likes CZW......

Hmmmm, how bout you just go read all of our posts in the other threads? How many fucking times do I(and the rest of us) have to repeat ourselves.

Reasons I hate CZW:
1)No talent
2)Spotfest Matches with 0 psychology
3)Still promote the crapfest people call "deathmatches"

Why don't YOU give some depth and backing to your opinions. You just found this forum 2 days ago and haven't been exposed to exactly what my opinions are. So do me a favor. Why don't you take some time and read what I(and we) have to say about wrestling in general. Then you can start asking questions. Ok?

Wrestling spotfests with no meaning doesn't make for a good match. Hitting someone with a chair for the sake of hitting someone with a chair is a waste. Hitting ten top rope moves and five jumps out of the ring for the sake of doing it doesn't make for a good match.

Those things CAN make a good match when combined (and even on their own) if they MEAN something, but when it's one big clusterfuck spotfest, it's not wrestling.

Oh, wow, violence wasn't the main focus of this post.

Xero & Red, what matches have you even seen over the last year (NOT including Tournament of Death)? I'm just curious, because last time I checked, if you're saying it's mostly spotfests & 0 psychology, then I guess ROH, PWG, IWA-MS, and a bunch of other companies would be considered the same. How the hell do Hero/Quack/Castagnoli/Steen/Super Dragon have 0 psychology & how are their matches spotfests? Please explain that one.

In professional wrestling, a spot is a pre-planned set of moves which is designed to get a particular audience reaction or determine the pace of the match.
Wrestlers who choreograph their matches before the show will usually decide on an opening spot and a take home spot, as well as several spots to use throughout the match. The remaineder of the match will be divided between transition moves and general offensive and defensive moves.
A spotfest refers to a match which consists mainly or entirely of spots, normally with little flow between moves and no logical transitions. A spotfest is normally a fast-paced, exciting match with constant displays of athleticism, but many fans regard spotfests as poorly structured. In addition, spotfests often contain many high risk moves, and therefore endanger the health of the participants. A spotfest will often include a large number of high-flying moves.



There ya go buddy, it seems you have trouble with the definition of a spotfest. And yes, RoH is full of spot-wrestling, but it also balances it out with matches that have an ebb and flow, as well as psychology.

Well, you still don't seem to get my point. How the hell are matches from the likes of Hero/Quack/Castagnoli/Steen/Super Dragon spotfests?

Answer the goddamn question. I know what a fucking spotfest is and I didn't ask for a smartass definition to clarify what one is. Quack pulls out a hurricanrana and the hilo to the outside every know and then, as for the others, I'd like to read YOUR explanation. Not an explanation of what a spotfest is or how it works, but how the wrestlers I listed above have matches that are spotfests. Have fun with that one.

C'mon man. Super Dragon??? I've watched this kid since he debuted in Southern California. My first experience of him was in XPW(see, I watch it all, to see if I like) in a tag match. It was him and Excalibur, vs two masked jobbers(one was like ,El Toro(?) and the other looked like a ninja power ranger).

What do his matches consist of?? Spot after spot after spot, culminating in a big spot(the take-home spot for you uneducated folks(read Harib Allsak)). Not as bad as garbage wrestling, but still worse than ANYTHING with psychology.

Ok buddy, I'll certainly give you in depth explanations, but then I would like YOURS in return, since most of you on this board think you "know" everything. (broken down into sections just for Xero)

Point #1: That Super Dragon match was then, this is now. I did not ask nor bring up PAST events, although I do remember saying within the last two years. XPW has been dead for awhile now. Try watching Dragon's newer stuff.....he has improved tons.

Point #2: Various matches (among the many) that were NOT spot matches and had fine ring psychology:
- Mike Quackenbush vs. Chris Sabin @ NOF in Nov. 2005
- Claudio Castagnoli vs. Ruckus @ NOF in Nov. 2005
- Chris Hero vs. Eddie Kingston in a Last Man Standing match @ NOF in Nov. 2005
- Eddie Kingston vs. Gran Akuma @ PONR in Oct. 2005
- El Generico vs. Kevin Steen @ PONR in Oct. 2005
- Super Dragon vs. El Generico (both matches from Deja Vu 3 in August as well as BOTB 5 back in May 2005)
- JC Bailey vs. Arik Cannon from Deja Vu 3 in Aug. 2005
- B-Boy vs. "Spyder" Nate Webb at Deja Vu 3 in Aug. 2005
- Mike Quackenbush vs. Tony Mamaluke at High Stakes 3 in July 2005
- B-Boy vs. Sabian vs. Mike Quackenbush from VBD in June 2005
- Chris Hero vs. Eddie Kingston @ VBD in June 2005
- Derek Frazier vs. Franky The Mobster from VBD in June 2005
- Claudio Castagnoli vs. Brandon Thomaselli from VBD in June 2005
- Almost all of Best of the Best V in May 2005

Point #3: Why do all of you constantly harp of the "0 psychology" aspect? Do you know what ring psychology is? Last time I checked, there were various books, webpages, etc., all with accurate definitions. I suggest you look them up. Just because a match has 1 or 2 highspots does NOT mean it's a complete clusterfuck or has no psychology about it.

Point #4: Why make fun of where wrestlers work outside wrestling? For example, bashing Mondo at Blockbuster. Wrestling was a hobby that paid, while Blockbuster helped bring in more cash. Most guys can't survive on just wrestling alone, unless they're in "TEH WWE."

I'm sure most of you: a) haven't gone to college b) don't have a desirable job (such as working at a food store, convenience store, etc) c) have no job at all and sit in front of a computer, masturbating all day long over how much you THINK you know and how cool you are. d) do all of the above, which in that case, you quite honestly NEED to get a fucking life.

Point #5: There is no real 'Point #5.' If you didn't get it by now (and by reading past posts), you're obviously to thickheaded of a person to communicate with. No where did I say you should like CZW and no where was I trying to "convert" anyone into liking the product.


Now that I've wasted precious final studying time, babble on all you want, because there's no changing your minds about anything. I'm not trying to get anyone to like CZW, I'm simply correcting false assumptions people have of the company, just because they were known for doing ultraviolent and hardcore matches, circa 2002 and before. It's now 2005, just in case any of you forgot. I'm done with this board for now, since I've said my piece, so bash and pretend you know about the business, all you want.......

Point #1- I am in no way, shape, or form, your "buddy"

Point #2- You just don't get it. I don't like CZW, I don't have preconcieved notions of CZW or anything. Its not the minority of ppl who find the CZW product crap. Its the majority.

Their assumptions are not false, your assumption that they are not garbage would be false.
