I don't fucking believe this.
So here's the situation. I came back from school on Friday afternoon, and on the kitchen work surface was an envelope, labeled "Ticketmaster". My dad, who was working 12pm-8pm on this day, had already opened the envolope when they came in the mail that morning, and left them there for me to see when I got home. So I got home, I saw the three tickets for Smackdown! in Manchester, and then left them in the kitchen, where I'd just come back and pick them up later and put them in my desk. No big deal, that's what I usually do. So then today I remembered all about them, and went to get them, when of course, you guessed it, they were gone. I asked my mum, she didn't know where they were, then I asked my dad, and he said he left them there for me. So we searched all over the house for them and they were nowhere to be seen. So, in a last ditch effort to find the tickets, we searched through the bin outside...and we found the 3 tickets, ripped into 6 pieces. My Mum, the stupid fool, had ripped them up, then coming off with the old 'thinking it was junk mail' excuse.
Luckily though, they are all only ripped in half and have been taped together, plus we still have the receipt. So yeah I'm pretty gutted right now, but all the tickets are still intact, and hopefully if we call the arena and explain, they'll understand. And obviously if they want to go through some verification process then that won't be a problem, because of course they weren't stolen . But yeah, I could kill my mother right now, and I hope it won't be a problem. So, umm...any of you had a situation like this? And if so, has it been a problem?
