It's video game season. What are you excited for?

* Yoshi's Island 2 (DS) - The first one was awesome. This game looks like it captures what made the original game so damn awesome. I just hope it doesn't end up being really easy and short like Super Princess Peach and New Super Mario Bros. I've put more time into the original (GBA version) than I have with either NSMB and SPP and I'm not even half done the game. I love the art style of the game too.

* Wii - I don't care what anyone says, I'm going to have a blast playing it. Plus I finally have a couple of people to play multiplayer with (I've had no one for the past like 5 years to play games with). I can't really afford a PS3 and the 360's games haven't appealed to me.

* Contact (DS) - It's sounding like a pretty good and quirky RPG. So far I have no idea if the game will turn out well, but from what I've heard about it so far sounds pretty good. This game might be over looked due to all the other awesome games and consoles coming out.

* Elite Beat Agents (DS) - My friend played an imported version of the game a while ago and was late for work because of it. She's assured me that it's mad fun and I'll love it. I think the American version that's coming out is slightly different, but still awesome.

* PS3 - I can't afford one, but I'm excited for it anyway. I'd like to eventually get a PS3 or 360. I'll give the PS3 some time and see what games come out for that and see if I'm interested once I can afford one.

This is a good season for video games. Two freaking consoles.
