I was bored, so I came up with these. I did a similar thing before the season, but I think this one is better. There are a couple that could go either way, like Tennessee being in the top group or Florida State being in the second group, but it is all relative. Tell me which ones you think should change.
National Power: Not neccessarily always amazing, but on any given year one of these teams could be the national champion and it wouldn't be a big shock. ---------- Auburn Florida Florida State LSU Miami Michigan Ohio State Oklahoma Texas USC Second Tier: These are teams that you will find in bowls like the Capitol One, Cotton, Peach, etc. They are always good teams, almost always have more than 6 wins, but it would have to be an uncharacteristically good year for them to be BCS Champions. ---------- Alabama Arkansas California Iowa Georgia Louisville Nebraska Oregon Penn State Tennessee Texas A&M Virginia Tech Wake Forest West Virginia Wisconsin Bowl Teams: Generally, you will find these teams in bowl games. Generally, they will be 6-8 win teams. On a rare year, you might find them in an upper tier or BCS Bowl, and you might find them missing bowls too. ---------- Arizona State Boston College Clemson Colorado Georgia Tech Kansas State Maryland Michigan State Minnesota Missouri Oklahoma State Oregon State Pittsburgh Purdue Rutgers South Carolina South Florida Texas Tech UCLA Just Under: These are teams that can very well make a bowl game and it wouldn't be too surprising, but for one of these teams to be a 7 or 8 win team anytime soon would be kind of a big deal. Generally speaking, these are teams that will struggle to consistantly win six games. ---------- Arizona Cincinnati Iowa State Kansas Kentucky North Carolina NC State Northwestern Ole Miss Virginia Washington Washington State Piss Poor: If one of these teams makes a bowl game, or even wins as many as four games, it is big news. ---------- Baylor Connecticut Duke Illinois Indiana Mississippi State Stanford Syracuse Vanderbilt Dont Mess With Kids Last edited by BCWWF; 12-02-2006 at 10:20 PM. |
