Not really. Think about past years. This years actually been pretty uneventful. How about 2001...The Invasion Angle, WWF buys out WCW (real life), Flair returns, Jericho wins the title, RVD debuts, ECW reforms, Austin turns heel, HHHs injury, Benoits injury, Jerry Lawler quits and returns, Edge and Christian break up

or 2002: hogan returns, nwo invades, austin quits, rock retires, brock debuts and becoms youngest champion, shawn michaels returns to the ring, triple h returns and wins rumble, bischoff becomes GM, kane returns, the elimination chamber, rey mysterio signs


2006 sucked

Yes I completely agree. But on paper 2001 and 2002 were good, event wise. However 2006 sucked in real life AND on paper.

2001 is when Invasion rolled around, and since then it has gotten steadily worse, think about what it would be like if the Invasion had never happened, they may have lost the fight, but they won the war, They got some of thier people in thier and the rest went to TNA pretty much, it seems like the master plan, got the planet on hold, flip them fools like clamshell cellular phones. Oops nevermind but seriously it seems like wcw/ecw is killing WWE from inside while the rest kill it off, by TNA getting bigger. It is something I thought about for quite a bit.
