To everyone who doesn't watch TNA?
Is there one person who, if they signed for any role in the company, would make you watch it?
RVD might make me want to watch it, but if I could see Eric Bishoff once a week as just a figurehead I'd make it a point ot watch it.

I don't watch TNA because of conflicting schedules. I go out into the world on Thursday nights.

Well, there's only a handful of wrestlers that I mark for in WWE (RVD being one) but if they all somehow ended up in TNA, then I MIGHT be inclined to watch.

If they hire a new crowd and got their faces and heels straight I'd watch regularly.

They have the starpower now for me to watch, it's the fans and the booking that's keeping me away.

If the following events unfold, I'll watch religiously:

Paul Heyman comes out with a chair and goes to the announcers table to confront Don West....then out of nowhere RVD gives West the Van Daminator. Heyman would then have to sit at the announcers table, grab the headset and take over permanently. To be honest, it's not even the "lunatic" or "self destructive" parts that make me not like him in TNA. It's the "Now that I've moved to the minors, I'm going to whine about WWE like everyone else, instead of asskicking. I will become as generic as humanly possible."

I'm not entirely sure how much Heyman would help, though. Mostly because I'm not sure Heyman would get free reign. Or even close. Though maybe if they fired Russo and were serious about booking well. But I'm not sure if they are serious about competing with WWE. It almost seems like it's a lighthearted joke.

What exactly is everyone's problem with TNA? TNA has been nothing short of phenominal for the past 2-3 months, definately better than any other national wrestling product on TV right now, bar none. Have you guys actually watched Impact and the PPV's for the past 2-3 months or have you just read spoilers/people bitching on forums and just don't watch because of that?

I haven't watched TNA in ages, so I don't know anything about Angle's post-WWE "career", aside from what I've read here. However, just from the facts that have culminated about his dismissal and the stories and reports of his persona since the departure, I have no qualm with ignoring him along with the rest of TNA. The fact that he's now officially bonkers in my personal Category of Whackjob Celebrities puts him on the bottom rung of the attention ladder.

For the first time in god damned forever, you and I are in nearly total agreement on a subject pertaining to something on this forum.

The only difference I'd interject, is that Heyman would make a profound impact, if you'll pardon the double en tandre -- his pressence alone would raise morale, both for the workers and the televiewing fanbase. I'd say give it a month before we start saying for sure if his pressence is fruitful or useless. If they employed his prowess, they would be a threat; if they jerked him around, they'd be proving their intended futility.

You know, the best thing to do, if you're not attempting to be inflammatory in your posts, is NOT make a huge deal out of an agreement.

I'd say you might find me more agreeable if even your compliments and praise didn't come from a cock, but let's face it. You wouldn't.

I don't know if Heyman can do what Sting, Angle, Cage, etc. could not do. If he was given free reign or a large chunk of creative control, he could seriously turn things around, but I don't think that'll happen. And as such, I don't think Heyman will draw in new people, as his onscreen persona's probably not going to pull people in.

And that's really that. I'm hard pressed to believe that he would make an impact on viewers. Backstage morale? Maybe, but I doubt morale's going to spike in a company where you work twice a month and get a huge chunk of your living elsewhere, before coming back to job to Jarrett.

Maybe it is, I don't know. But I don't see Heyman doing much good unless he's actually hands on.

Since I'm still not watching even though Kurt Angle is in it, I don't know if there really is anyone to get me to watch. I was a big Angle fan, but because of all the BS that happened from his WWE departure to his TNA debut, I refuse to support his decision.

RVD maybe close, since he is my current favorite. But even then, I could probably only watch his segments.
