So I went to the Smackdown/ECW house show Sunday...

Got there around 4 pm and luckily I was by the gate where the wrestlers would enter into the building. I got to see Benoit, Kevin Thorn, Daivari, and Khali walk into the building. Benoit was talking to the fans while he was coming in, I didn't hear much except Benoit make reference to the cold weather.

And then I heard people yelling and I saw Ken Kennedy walking my way. So being the typical asshole that I am...

Me: YOU SUCK!

*Kennedy looks at me*

Kennedy: Oh yeah?

Ahhh to think telling Kennedy that he sucked to his face would've made my day and nothing could top that. Well two minutes later that change as the man himself was making his way into the building...

My girlfriend (thinks he's sexy) started yelling for him and me and a couple of other guys started chanting his name. So instead of walking into the building, he walks straight to us. Punk took a couple of minutes to sign autographs and take pictures with the people around us (we couldn't find our digital camera ). Although my girlfriend got a hug from Punk and I managed to make a comment about Homicide's ROH title win. Punk smirked and simply replied "Of course he did, I'm no longer there to beat him." He thanked us for coming and went inside.

But for the night, we had fantastic seats (dead center 2nd row). Before his match with CM Punk, Matt Striker cut a funny promo mentioning the our college (Ball State) name. He suggested more proper names like Gonad State or Scrotum State. And he also told us to stop smoking "the pot."

And then another ROFL moment from Kennedy talking about BSU's shitty sports programs and that the women's teams are better than the men's which led to him saying that the only thing women are good as is "staying in the kitchen and cooking him food, vaccuming his carpet, and in the bedroom taking off his clothes."

Otherwise the event was somewhat dissapointing. I didn't get to see Sabu or the Sandman and was stuck seeing Funaki and Jimmy Wang Yang team up when it could've easily have been London and Kendrick.
