Power Jack on Laptop is loose:
Close to busted I'd call it. I know shitall about Solidering, so that's pretty useless to me.
I want to find some place REALLY cheap to get it repaired, or if I can find reasonable cost and a decent guide, I might be able to do it with the help of my father. Any suggestions on places to get it fixed, or what materials you'd suggest? ![]() #bestintheworld #allhailtheking MY WORKRATE > YOUR WORKRATE ![]() SIX STARS | STRONG STYLE | SIX STARS Quote:

Also before anyone says it, YES: I've googled the hell out of it.

go to an electrical repair shop and get it fixed? You might have to disassemble it for them, and provide a new power socket if your ones stuffed. Which could be hard to get.

You just might be fucked.
Same thing happened to me. Took it to a reliable computer repair place in town to get it solidered back on, but it still didn't work. |
