Good 90's songs...

Ok, so im really missing the mid 90's, and I can't remember any songs other than the big bands like Pearl Jam, The Verve Pipe, Ben Folds, Semisonic, Smashin Pumpkins, etc... I just want some suggestions of songs that were played on MTV during the mid 90's, no rap please.

Anything from the Wallflowers' "Bringing Down The Horse" album. Notably "One Headlight," "The Difference," and "Sixth Avenue Heartache."

Edit: OK I found the CD. There are two disks and it's full of those great songs from the 90's http://www.musicspace.com/product.as...ct%5Fid=MS1134

Agreed. "Hang," even though it wasn't a single, is a masterpiece.

True. If my "YOSLY" CD was an old record, I think I'd have worn the grooves out on it by now.

Now that we're talking about it, I think I'm going to listen to it as soon as this RHCP Greatest Hits CD ends.

I was actually thinking about this thread on my way to class earlier and was reminded of all the great (IMO) songs that came out in '97:

One Headlight, Tubthumping, Don't Speak, Semi-Charmed Life, Walkin' on the Sun, Lovefool, Fly, Criminal, If You Could Only See, Bitch, Everyday is a Winding Road, Push, Crash Into Me, New Pollution, Everlong, The Difference, Impression That I Get, Breathe, I Want You, Freshmen, A Change Would Do You Good, Hitchin' A Ride, Building A Mystery, Sunny Came Home, Bittersweet Symphony, I Do, Block Rockin' Beats, A Long December, I'll Be Missing You, Monkey Wrench, Song 2...
