I read a rumour that Harry Smith might be debuting on SmackDown!
Sans Hart Foundation gimmick, of course, seeing as Teddy fucked up. If this is the case, I think they should have him break The Masterlock. Only Bobby Lashley has done it so far, and while Chuck Palumbo could get a rub from doing it second, I think Harry Smith doing it in England would get a huge pop.
Anyway, talk about how you would debut Harry Smith on SmackDown!, if you had to do it this week. Pfft |

Also, while we're on the topic of debuts, CM Punk gets to choose his partner against Big Daddy V, The Miz & John Morrison this week. I'm pretty sure it will be Tommy Dreamer, but how fucking sweet would it be if it were Colt Cabana? I'm pretty sure England would know who he is (being a smarky crowd), and Cabana works the European style well. I can see the crowd marking out for Punk & Cabana, which would be as good a start as any for Colt. It's how CM Punk got his (although there were admittedly vignettes for Punk).

Cabana worked 2 summer seasons, but I don't the masses would know him.
As for Smith? Personally from what I've seen of him he looks average, I dunno. Really hoping to see Birchill come out and form that British stable |

All they need to do is have him come out to Bulldogs music, in England, and mention who his father was. Mega Pop. Fans will see that on TV and cheer him.
Have him Fued with the other English chaps (Taylor Burchill and that Drew guy) |

If they get over that he’s Bulldog’s son then yeah he’ll get a monster pop. He should be feuding with someone established in the mid card, right now I can’t really think who though. As the 3 guys I would think off are all involved in programmes (Finlay, MVP and Masters) |

Also, Paul Burchill joining Dave Taylor is a must for this week's edition of SmackDown!. Burchill isn't really "new," per se. I could see him feuding with Harry Smith and it being successful. I wouldn't personally go with it, though. I am a bigger supporter of Matt Hardy winning the US Title before he and MVP split, but if they are going to do the switch before the singles feud really kicks in, then they might as well have Hardy & Porter lose the titles in England. A title change creates the illusion of eventfulness. I don't care whether they go Dave Taylor & Drew McIntyre or Paul Burchill & Drew McIntrye, but I think they would make great go-to Champions. They can defend the belts against Jesse & Festus and The Undertaker & Kane (which they win when Taker & Kane's singles feuds step in and help out the Brits). A match against The Major Brothers would also be quite fun. |

You can even work some of Kenny's OVW character into it. "I'm not going to be the next Bret Hart, I'm not going to be the next British Bulldog...I'm going to be the first Kenny Dykstra." |
