WrestleMania 19
Me and my friend were watching WrestleMania 19 on dvd last Sunday. He told me that Stone Cold vs The Rock was originally set to be the main event but for some reasons it couldn't happen and Angle vs Brock was featured as the main event. Just wanted to know those "some reasons".

I never heard that, a title match should always main event IMO

Angle/Brock was always supposed to be the main event.

The confusion may be that when Angle's neck got hurt bad, there was fear that he wouldn't be able to wrestle, and they went back and forward and what the main event should be. The injury was also the cause of them putting all their marketing into Hogan Vs. McMahon, which was pretty much responsible for the small buyrate.

If they were thinking about using Austin/Rock as the ME due to Angle's neck, they definitely changed their mind when they found out about Austin's neck.
