Lightbulb How do i fix this!?!?

Ok, so i am trying to log into certain accounts on the web, and when i try to access them, it does nothing. I do notice at the bottom left it says error on page. Now, is that from my side or the website? Also, i will have a "Do you still want to continue running scripts from this page?" pop-up with certain sites, but when i try to answer "yes" or "no", it does nothing. Therefore, i am forced to close my whole internet explorer application and start it back up. Anybody know how to fix this? I know i'll probably have to go to "Internet Options" and mess with the security, but i've tried some of that already and nothing happened. I even reset to the internet default settings.

The "errors on page" is a website issue. If you're loading the page completely and it's giving you those errors then it's most likely their problem.

If you want to get a little more detail then you can try viewing the error and seeing what it says. Not sure if you'll be able to do anything about it or not.

Yeah, it's usually an error on their end. If you have to keep restarting IE afterwards, then that's just the common bugginess of IE. Try updating to the latest version, if you haven't already. Hopefully, things get cleared up.

You get that with some dodgey sites. I always got them in the early days (before I knew better) when I'd follow a Matt Boone link to Pro Wrestling Scoops and the like.

I just gave up in the end.

But, when you get the error (or click on the error message at the bottom of the screen) it generally gives you a line number. This refers to the line in the source code. You can view the source code on any web page by selecting [View] then [Source] on your IE toolbar. Doesn't do you much good but you can then see what the error is.

Also as BC says, try latest Java version.

Best option I found was to just avoid these sites because after a while it just pisses you off...there's always a better site.
