Some surprises you'd like to see at WrestleMania
This thread was inspired by the "Your favorite PPV surprises" thread. WrestleMania is time to wrap up the wrestling year and begin anew. The WWE does seem to be without its fair share of healthy shocks these days, so I'm wondering what kind of surprises would you like to see at WrestleMania XXIV?

I would like to see some sort of stable formation to be honest...something that would at least give us a justification for certain happenings at the event itself.

Like have Hunter help HBK take out Flair and HBK knock Cena's head off with a Superkick, allowing HHH to get the Title. Have Taker beat Edge in a really nasty way.....like his MMA move until Edge is in a really bad way. Chavo cheat Punk out of the ECW title too...

You could then have Hardy winning MiTB and leading a little mini group against the giants of the business, keeping his momentum going.

Do it across the brands to, give people a reason to tune in to every show...

The older vets desperate to hold on to their spots (aware it's similar to WCW, but that doesn't have to harm the execution here)...

HHH (Raw champ), HBK (Legend), heel Taker (ruthless hardcore champ era taker, and Smackdown Champ) and have a heel Chavo (anxious to protect Guerrero name and history, ECW Champ)


...then you can have a "younger" fan fav group to do the chasing...

Jeff, CM Punk, London/Kendrick (wishful thinking), Shelton Benjamin (can work great matches with the likes of HHH, and has got history), you could add others like Misterio, a face Carlito, Matt Hardy etc....

Would maybe elevate however was in the younger group and set up a few special title wins throughout the year...would also leave the door open for an Edge face turn, or someone like Punk turning and becoming a protege for the Vets...and obviously you could have the mark out Flair return to cheat one of his olds foes out of a title...

...thoughts?

Edge ending The Undertaker's streak, while not the best thing for business, and while I'm not Edge's biggest fan or anything, would be a moment that would at least be memorable. The same goes for Umaga beating Batista, in my opinion. Not the smartest move, but I'd enjoy it.

I'd also like to see two matches signed for WrestleMania:

* Chavo Guerrero vs. Kane for the ECW Championship
* Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. John Morrison & The Miz for the World Tag Team Championship and WWE Tag Team Championship

I am a huge fan of both Kane and Chavo Guerrero, so I'd get quite excited about a match between the two. I'm sure it wouldn't be a classic or anything, but it'd be a solid battle, and I'd mark out for Kane winning his second World Title, even if people don't recognise the WWECW belt as being on that level.

Next week on RAW, you have Paul London & Brian Kendrick win the World Tag Team Championship from Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes, and then have the second inter-brand challenge match set up. London & Kendrick will defend the World Tag Team Championship in the same fall as John Morrison & The Miz defend the WWE Tag Team Championship. The winners can be presented with new belts on RAW. It would be a great match to open the PPV with, and it'd seem special enough, I think.

One thing I would like to see, though, is John Cena being taken out of the WrestleMania WWE Title match. It might piss a lot of Cena fans off, but who gives a fuck about them? Orton celebrates with the WWE Championship, and then the Money in the Bank winner, whether it be Chris Jericho, CM Punk or Matt Hardy makes their entrance, challenges Orton for the WWE Title, and we get Orton dethroned by the end of the night.
