Suprise to see them split

What teams/ stables in recent wrestling where you suprised to see fail? My top pick was Seritonin. It was Raven the ringleader, Matyr (Matt Bently), Kaz (Fank Kazerian), and Havok (Johhny Devine). They wore the face paint and Raven did his thing on the mike I was suprised to see them disband soo quickly. I liked Dave Taylor and McIntyre I thought it was a good mix of expirence and speed but meh, aint a big loss. I wasnt mad that the Spirit Squad was broken up soo fast but I thought that they'd maybe bring them in as a couple of smaller teams or paired them with other wrestlers. I thought there was better talent than just Kenny. Any others you'd like to mention?

Honerable mention Kane, Boogeyman, and lil Boogey.

Seritonin was fucking stupid. It just looked like Raven's terrible attempt to get back his good years, 10 years ago.

I was surprised that the Spirit Squad was broken up so quickly and erased from our memories WWE style considering the monster air time they got.

Yeah, Spirit Squad was weird, considering the amount of time and the push that they got.

They were kinda starting a whole Rock in The Nation thing with Kenny, with him trying to have the spotlight in the group and saying he's the best and that he's the leader... and I was looking forward to seeing that come to fruition, but instead they were all literally sent back to OVW.

MNM breaking up when they did originally sort of surprised me. They had great tag team matches, but Johnny Nitro was still pretty new to the scene, so I expected him to learn off Joey Mercury for a little while longer.

Paul London & Billy Kidman splitting up as early as they did sort of surprised me. Seemed way premature.

Trufax. That was also a disappointment. I really liked them as a tag team, and the feud really didn't go anywhere. I don't think Kidman is a good heel. Unless of course, he's a crack addict with a move called the 'Seven Year Itch.'

I actually thought Kidman played the heel very well. He played it with a brush of disturbed arrogance that was more wounded than you usually see out and about today. But I think the WWE fucked up the feud by not continuing it when Paul London came back, and by not making Kidman into more and more of an asshole.

I concur. The only real good that came out of the split, was that London started doing the London Calling to sort of mock Kidman. That is a fucking amazing move. He could have done that while teaming with him, though. Call them something like "The Shooting Stars," or something ultra cheesy like that.

The Union was Shamrock, Test, Mankind and Big Show, and it was only meant to battle the Corporation for like 2 weeks. It was a very awkward pairing of people.

I was surprised to see them turn Hogan face at WrestleMania X8 with Rock and have him split from the nWo. I mean, with all of that "bringing poison into the WWE" shit that Vince was giving us, I thought the angle was going to be pretty big, and Hollywood Hogan was what made the nWo work. Instead it was a 1-month thing with the big three (Hogan, Hall, and Nash), and then after that Nash got hurt, Hall got fired, and the nWo became kind of a sideshow, with Big Show, Booker T, Goldust, X-Pac and then HBK.

I was surprised, in 2002, to see The Dudley Boys split up to RAW and Smackdown. I thought it was a horrible idea, and indeed it was.

As Dorkchop said, Seritonin was just TNA's attempt at the Flock or th Nest. Raven is kind of a one trick pony. Plus it never went anywhere. He seemed to show up occasionally, kinda start shit with Rhino, then disappear for weeks only do the same with like Abyss.

APA.

Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't like JBL at all, but I think him and Farooq (he'l forever be that to me!) were good. They take no shit and they smoke and play poker etc. Shit when u think about it, but it worked.... and if u dont agree, well, at least you'd hear Farooq say more than fucking "DAMN" every bastard week.

... and where is Kenny nowadays? I never watch Heat, barely watch SD! so I'm kinda lost.

Surprised they didn't keep Evolution going with new members, a la The Horsemen (seeing as it was Triple H's transparent attempt to emulate them). I suppose they could still bring it back.

KingofKings does not have that much rep yet (10+)
I dont think evolution was meant to emulate the hoursemen IMO. It was created more to push two potential main eventers into main eventers, which is exactly what it did. You put a mid-card wrsetler with a main eventer and a legend and the mid-cards get more rep, until they all turn on each other creating a big main event feud.

But for me it was the nWo in WWE, i expected it to be used alot more than it was, but maybe that was vince's way of saying, all wCw ideas were sh*t and were not worth more than a month of wwe's time.

The Spirit Squad...they were definitely one of the more interesting things on WWE television, and their feud with DX was great (albeit one sided). After having main event matches, and a monster push, they were gone. Since they've disbanded, Dykstra's career has gone nowhere. WWE should bring them back.
