Your Favorite Champion
To be honest I've never much cared for a WWE World champion while they held the belt except maybe RVD, HBK, and now CM Punk.
Anyway Who IS your Favorite Champion of all time, who made the title they wore something special? Who made youw ant to watch to see if he got beat or didn't get beat? Any title. Any Company. Quote:

I was pretty big into Razor's first IC run. Hated Diesel for the longest time.

Any run he got.
![]() His first run in the early 90's got me into wrestling, and his run before SS97 was so cool because the anti-America role to me was so unique especially for him that it kept me riveted. Can't really decide between those. |

Austin's first run in 1998 was gold. Every week you couldn't wait to see what scheme Vince would try to screw him out of the title.

Bret Hart.
But The Rock / Austin in the Attitude era. - Probably based on the fact I was so madly into it back then. But back when fueds were everywhere lower card to main event and the title was actually chased after till the enth degree. Not just a non title match here and there and at a PPV. But entertainment along the way and even at the PPV. |

What did Bret do during his first run? Like the only things I can remember are beating Flair, the Rumble against Razor, and then losing to Yoko. Granted, those were like the only PPVs back then, but did he defend on Superstars regularly?
Second run was lots better, with the Owen feud, winning the Rumble, then beating Yoko, continuing the Owen feud, and then a good match two matches with Backlund. Still surprisingly short, but I think he came out looking lots better. |

Shawn Michaels in 96. I was gutted when Sid won at Survivor Series.

Bret Hart as Intercontinental champ when I first started watching, Rock/Austin as WWF Champ when I got back into watching, Ken Shamrock as IC champ, Shane McMahon as European champ
![]() New Age Outlaws as Tag Team champions, can't think who else tbh Favorite ever is a bit obvious though: Chris Jericho as Undisputed champ. |

I think I'm going to have to say Chris Jericho as the WCW Cruiserweight champion, actually.

RVD as ECW TV Champion was magical. Amazingly over everywhere he went and carried that for the rest of his career. Numerous phenomenal matches with a wide variety of contenders and only lost the belt because he got hurt and could not physically compete. Now THAT'S a champion.
Also, honorable mentions for Diamond Dallas Page as WCW United States Champion, and Billy Kidman as WCW Cruiserweight Champion. I guess the belts meant more to me back when I was a mark. |

Was wondering when somebody was gonna say D'Lo.
Or how about that epic Mideon Euro reign where he found the title in a bag? Tag Champions I loved the Quebequers because I hated the Steiners so much due to them being so bland, and I loved Johnny Polo. I was okay with them losing to the Headshrinkers though. Sucks that after that they just kind of went away. Honorable mention to Money Inc, who would have probably been number one but were held back due to having Jimmy Hart as a manager. Ted and IRS could have stood on their own merit. |
