At Summerslam in the tag match for the I.C. Title and Womens Title, Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix win with Phoenix pinning Mickie James. Santino celebrates by holding the I.C. Title only for Beth Phoenix to declare that she is the new I.C. Champion and Santino thus becomes the new Womens Champion.
