Yeah thought this game was dead for a while, but that looks awesome. I only played thrugh the first one, but I do have Chaos Theory.

Never liked the Splinter Cell series, but am seriously tempted by this, looks great.

It's alright. I actually got stuck on the part where
SPOILER: show
in the 2nd JBA HQ assignment when the time's up and you're supposed to meet with Emile and Erica and their lackeys in the JBA HQ conference room, you have to pick an option from your wrist device of whether to blow a ship with 1,000s of passengers on it (which I didn't know, but it is in instant loss in all trust from the NSA), or some neutral option, forgot what it is, or the one you're SUPPOSED to pick, pass the buck and Blame Erica for what happened.
But, yeah, Conviction looks awesome so far.

Isn't this one also supposed to be not as dependent on stealth also? I thought I heard or read somewhere that it's more of a mix of stealth and action with more freedom to choose if you acted covertly or overtly and you could kinda just toggle back and forth?

I also believe I heard mention of no more Lambert. Good riddance.

Seeing as i've never given Splinter Cell a chance, I decided to the first 3 games from Goozex for 100 points each.

Though I'll miss the awesome Spies vs Mercs (especially the ultimate version found in Chaos Theory), I think these modes will most certainly suffice.

Yeah, have been giddy with excitement over this game. Waiting for this and Red Dead Redemption.

Will miss Spies vs Mercs, but there are plenty of things to do and the co-op (and Persistent Elite Creations specifically) seems freaking sweeeeeet. Like a better, stealthier Army of Two.

Demo's out? Sweet. I usually hate stealthy type games (especially the MGS series, yeah fuck you) , but something about this game has me hyped.

Yeah, EXTREMELY short demo. Controls took a little adjusting to, but it was fun. Really want the actual game though already.

Biggest gripes I'm hearing/reading is that they can do without the black and white color the screen turns when you are in stealth. REALLY short single player, but Deniable Ops and Co-op can make up for it. And a level that has no reason to be in the game.

I was wondering what the black and white color scheme was supposed to mean since the demo doesn't explain it and it seemed to occur at random spots.

Got too used to using the actual light/dark meter from past splinter cell games (never played Double Agent).

they did away with the light/dark meter and replaced it with the black&white change when your totally hidden. They system works so much better than the old meter.
