Superbad is a good movie.
Clerks is an all-time CLASSIC. If you vote for Superbad, you are probably a terrorist. |

I think Clerks is embraced by North Americans moreso than the rest of the world. Its good and all but yeah Superbad was funnier for me.

It will probably be a similar movie to it's generation. I love them both. Clerks has been around longer, naturally, but I'm not going to hold that against Superbad. I've watched it many times since it came out 2 years ago and it really never stops entertaining me. I'll have to think about it |

I don't know that Superbad will become a classic. It was a funny movie, but nothing about it was particularly groundbreaking. Judd Apatow's style is unique, but nothing happened in Superbad that didn't happen in 40-Year-Old Virgin or Knocked Up. He just changed the demographic a bit. If it does become a classic I think it would be because his entire body of work gets remembered in a similar light, sort of like John Hughes.
In a way, Kevin Smith is similar. His films don't necessarily break new ground every go round, but he does what he does well. I voted for Clerks because a) it's Smith's first and b) I think it's funnier than Superbad. |

Have to go with superbad, that bad acting in clerks did it in for me. Clerks II > Superbad however.

Clerks!
I've not seen Superbad, but even if I had I doubt I'd enjoy it as much as Clerks. |

I am in a huge minority here, but I was never a big fan of clerks.
