The Los Angeles Times speculated recently that NBC Universal might be partnering with WWE to get an official �WWE Network� off the ground in 18 months or possibly longer in hopes of a roll-out around the start of 2012. The speculation was that NBC may have the Universal HD channel (currently in 55 million homes) shifted to a WWE channel. The Universal HD channel already replays Raw during the week on weekends. Since WWE is seeking a business partner, NBC Universal would make sense since they are the parent company of USA and SyFy. The only obstacle is the current negotiations by Comcast to buy NBC Universal.
