I dunno maybe it's just me. I did hear that though, think it was Aikman - I can understand if the refs blew the calls. And you're right they did seem to miss a few things. Pretty funny when the crowd was getting all pissy over Goings' one not being called when Shockey got away with one like 5 minutes earlier

Being a Giants fan, I wouldn't have complained to have gotten a call swung our way on Goings' fumble. The thing that pisses me off is the inaccuracy and inconsistency of the referees. Two wrong calls don't make a right one, which makes me wonder if they saw the Goings fumble and blew it dead or didn't rule a fumble because they fucked up the Shockey call. The referees didn't change the outcome of this game though, thats when it really is disheartening.

Oh man. They said they hoped he'd be able to go to the training camps in July. Doesn't sound like a good prognosis at all.

I know that has to be terrible for him. It's his first time in the playoffs, and gets injured on the second play.

Yeah, unless it's somehow a really "minor" tare which I don't think their is such a thing, you wont see him next year.

He'll be shooting for training camp in July of 2007, not 2006.

Well, we now know it's the MCL also.

That being said, if it was just the ACL, I know they have some gread advancements and these are pro athletes, but you'd expect the guy to be ready to go in 6 months?

Unless it was like a small partial tare I just can't see that happening.
