Arrrrg, I hate it when they put other stuff on in lieu of the Jays games. I like diversity, in fact I've stated before there needs to be more of it, but not at the expense of baseball!

I heard, during the Jays/Red Sox series, while Foulke was pitching, that he, Foulke, hates baseball. The commentators made mention of it, saying Foulke has claimed this. I would like to hear more about this, if there's more to the story.

Halladay has another gross 8 inning game. 6-0 since his arm trouble in April and hasn't allowed a walk in 23+ innings.

I can't tell if the Twins/A's was good pitching or bad hitting. Probably both.

Definately both. Zito and Santana are obviously top pitchers but the Twins should be able to manage a run against Zito and the A's should be able to get more than 2 hits off Santana.
The Twins offensive approach vs. Saarloos was terrible. He had like 73 pitches through 7 innings or something like that. The lack of discipline was amazing, did they not have any idea that Saarloos walked 7 guys last start? If you work the count against Saarloos he will walk you because the sinker is going to be a ball low most of the time. He pitched well but Saarloos is not a guy who should ever reach the 8th inning without having given up a run. Bonser looked really good but he clearly needs to work on locating the fastball. The pitches to Thomas, Kotsay, and Johnson were crap. His stuff looked good though. Liriano/Bonser/Nathan for Pierzynski is officially the worst trade in MLB history. |

He just got called up to the A's actually because Mark Ellis broke his thumb. He's not going to play though, they called him up earlier when someone was injured and he never got in a game. But he has been hitting really well in AAA. His prospect status has taken a big hit the last three years because he was in AA from 2003-2005 and never hit well. "Lack of bat speed" has been the reason cited by most scouts. He's 26 now and his ceiling looks like that of a good backup catcher.

Aaron Small continues to show that last year he just got lucky. I don't think anyone ever thought otherwise though.

This next series against the Red Sox could be pretty bad. We have won 9 out of our last 11 I believe (not counting the game right now) with a depleted lineup and bullpen which is impressive, but I don't see it happening against the Red Sox.
Our lineup in this game right now is: 1) Stinett 2) Cabrera 3) Thompson 4) A-Rod 5) Posada 6) Cano 7) Phillips 8) Long 9) Cairo Pretty solid, lol. Granted, the game is a blowout so Damon was just taken out to get some rest, but Jeter was taken out with an injury. |

LMAO @ Tina Long having a job. That is the most embarassing thing ever for the Yankees. He is quite possible the worst player in major league history.

Red Sox back in first
![]() Clement looked good (Gave up 3 ER in 6) but he had to come out of the game, said it was not due to an injury though. So I dunno what the deal is there. If the Red Sox could just get something out of Clement on a regular basis that'd be huge, because right now the #5 starter is pretty much an automatic loss. (Pauly is slated to pitch again on Thrusday in Yankee Stadium, that should be real interesting) |

Man what a dramatic game today, just wish the Mets could have one.
Milledge's game-tying HR in the bottom of the 10th was my biggest baseball super markout in a LONG time |

This is the worst Braves team I think I have ever seen. Schuerholz better do something...anything to save us. The Diamondbacks just made us look silly.

Shakey, alright. Keith Foulke, not even close.
He's pitched much better the last week or so. 2-inning, no hit, 4 K save vs. the Twins last time out. The blown save in the Royal game wasn't really his fault. He's fine |

haha you can't really blame them though, look at the American League All Star team fan voting.
I am sure they would the do same for a Tigers/Twins seriese if people watched, I don't really get why people complain. What do you want ESPN to put on games not a lot of people watch? That'd be a good idea, they'd get ton of interest from sponsors. |

If the Twins could even go .500 on the road we would be the wildcard team. It is rediculous how bad the offense has been on this road trip. Hunter is cooling off, Cuddyer is ice cold and even Castillo has slowed down. We need Stewart back (but they say it's going to be maybe 15 more days) or else we need prospects to start hitting at the major league level.
By the way, I can see Ozzie Guillen taking a boat load of White Sox with him to the All Star Game, he said today he might take as many as 10. Now that might be high, but if he starts doing shit like AJ Pierzynski over Joe Mauer, shit is going to hit the fan. |

Can anyone tell me if Brad Wilkerson is going to turn his season around or not?
I just traded Clay Hensley for him and I need him to step it up cause my fantasy outfield right now is Randy Winn, Brian Giles and Jeff Francouer |

Hard to say, it takes some guys longer than others to adjust to AL pitching. But he's playing in a great park to do it in. I would say yes
