CM Punk vs. Kenny Dykstra: Woo! Let's hear it for the roster split!!!! Both of these guys are sort of heroes in my eyes as they are banging some of the finest women in the business. Although they seem to be wrestling in a manner to get rid of tension. Kenny with a chin lock and a reverse elbow for two. Clotheslines get another two. Neckbreaker for another two. Punk's at least over in his hometown. Another chin lock as Kenny seems to be studying Orton matches for source material. Punk takes over. Springboard clothesline and some knees into a bulldog for two. Fireman's carry into a drop on the knee gives Punk the win. I'd call it the Go 2 Sleep but that's not what it's called here so tough. Match rating: 1/2*

As long as theirs a guy making a livng on the back of a gimmick stealing that is shitty. Once that guy is out, then who does it hurt, no one. But as long as their is the origionater out their trying to put this over, and make it associated with him, trying to make money off of it, then yeah. It's uncreative and pathetic.

If an artist paints a picture, and is trying to sell, then artist B comes along and traces it and then sells it on a larger medium, it's shitty. Make on your own talents and ideas, not some one elses.

Love the Punker though. He's about the only thing left in mainstreamwrestling that makes me take notice.

Tell me how is Punk/KENTA different than anyone else out there?

Jake Roberts started using the DDT, then everyone else started using it while Jake was still wrestling. It didn't diminish Jake using it, people still went crazy for him using the DDT.

I can make other examples with the figure-four and the piledriver.

And besides how many casual fans ever heard of KENTA? How many of them will ever hear of him? Slim to none.

If Punk doesn't use the GO2SLEEP then someone else will start using it. And it would probably be someone like Funaki or Torrie Wilson. At least Punk is over and gets airtime, he gets to showcase that move on a larger scale where KENTA couldn't.

It's not like KENTA is going to lose work because Punk is using his finisher.

And there is my argument. When they see KENTA using that move in some rare jap tape their cousin bootlegged for them they will say "hey stole Punks move." And yes it can hurt KENTA. Lets say KENTA wants to come to America. And wow, the WWE actually wants him. What happens when he comes in? Now you could some fairy tale feud of him being pissed about the disgrace, but that's not realistic. What would happen is they make him stop using his combo and finish for something else. Once more he's less likely to ever get considered because "they already have one of those."

This likely wouldn't be such an issue if he wasn't stealing so much from ONE guy. A thing here, and a thing there. Cool. Pillaging his move set? Shitty. As an independent contractor I know I have to offer something unique to get work. If some goes around doing the same things as I do, on larger mediums, this will effectivly STOP me from getting work anywhere. People wont pay to see some guy do the things they saw Tuesday. KENTA is just lucky he was previously established in the states before this happened.

You do understand the nessecity to be unique in this buiness right? I know how I feel when people take my spots, as I can tell you wouldn't understand, but I work hard to offer something an audience hasn't seen beofre. And when I see guys taking everything I've worked so hard to perfect and get over, they might as well be dipping their hands into my wallet. There's not much of a difference. Does this happen all the time? Yeah, but so does rape and I don't stand for that either.

Cutting Edge: We've got all the Money in the Bank participants. Wow, this roster split is such an awesome concept. I can easily point out 5 guys who ain't winning the thing. Edge rambles about his one great moment glory when he cashed in his title shot. Edge goes on about his ladder match victories and wonders why the others think they can win. Matt talks about his own ladder match experience. Cheap shot at Lita which is cheaper than cheap considering she doesn't even work for them anymore. Booker T's next and he denounces the others for not reigning like he has. Finlay interrupts and claims he's tired of the talking. He dares Edge to start something. Orton grabs the mic and questions Edge's manliness. Kennedy opens his mouth next and does his usual crap. Even Edge makes fun of him. Jeff is next for some mockery. Jeff promises to steal the show. Interviews really aren't really the strong point for some of these guys. Last but not least is the Punk-meister. Edge has some addictions that are different than Punk's...including running his mouth. That triggers a brawl that Edge is more than happy to not take part of. I was wondering when they'd start building the Money In the Bank match. Good stuff: B
