Fucking horrible session with RoXer and Alva. I was making rookie mistakes and giving matches away. Khuntry was also beating my ass couch play. Very mad at myself.

Did you even bother trying to fight him on Very Easy or even, dare I say it...Easiest? Easiest would probably be your best shot if you can't take him down on Easy. Doesn't mean you can't try Very Easy first though and see if you can beat him on that setting.

I played a team battle woth RoXer, earlier. I sucked but I had only been playing for about 5 hours total after months of not playing SFIV, so that had to be expected. I had at least 10 ranked matches and only won one of them. I'm hoping I get back into the swing of it all quickly.

It's weird. I sucked online but the first thing I did when I got the game today was plow through Arcade Mode on hardest as Zangief without using a continue. Got 3 or 4 achievements for that.

Dan's opening and ending are great.

Buddy, this isn't some Mortal Kombat type early 90s fighter where you can do whatever and win. Certain moves have properties that have major effects on gameplay. Plus, it's a good idea to pay attention to move priorities and the distance where you are attacking from.

If a guy is blocking a lot, chip away with special moves or throw his ass. Orrrr, if he is doing a standing block, attack low. If he is doing a low block, jump kick him in the face. Or fuck it and go for a big ass focus attack. Lots of things you can do.

Don't give up. We need guys for the tourney.

Sorry if this one has already been answered, but I can't be bothered checking through loads of pages... but the achievements in SF4 and SSF4 are completely seperate from each other right? As I was going to trade in SF4 but I still have a bunch of achievements I could still easily get yet.

Also, i've noticed just choosing each character in VS mode unlocks colours and taunts, is that all you need to do to unlock EVERYTHING?

I'm going to keep playing Hakan until I can prove he can get out of situations that I currently don't think he can get out of easily. Every move he does can be blocked or avoided low, and he is insanely easy to trap in a corner.

And I don't oil enough, but I need to spend some time in training understanding the differences in the moves he makes.

More on this as it develops...

The grab does not work if the person isn't stupid enough to stand right next to you as you are standing. Roxer always made sure to backdash on me on stand-up. Its honestly not good defense, and it still misses easily.

yeah, im still learning Adon...i dont have half his moves down, but i think once i start getting them to memmory, ill be alright with him. That fight i had with Roxer where he won the first two rounds and i won three straight was pretty intense. I was shitting a brick because i dont really know his Ultra, or the jaguar kick/rising jaguar
