Not really, I've just played a lot the past few days. I hadn't played in a month until 3 days ago. Also, I've stopped watching highlights, and just do old school text commentary, the seasons go really quickly.

It took me 2 seasons to get Jermaine Wright to fully become an attacking midfielder and Ian Westlake into a defensive midfielder at Ipswich. I think sometimes the players stats don't fit a certain position so they may never change.

Anyone got any ideas what to do if the board won't expand the stadium because of "local residents" opposed to it which stopped them getting building permission?

Wow, that happened? That's actually pretty cool. But if that's the case, your best to wait a few years I would guess.

Also, the stats are for a central defender who has Finishing, Heading and Long Shots @ 19, the guy is practically begging to be a Striker.

Yeah but they upgraded my traning ground (big consolation ).

I think in a case of getting a defender to become a striker, you also have to be playing him up front as well as training him to the new position. If it's a youth player it should be simple enough but it will probably cause you problems in first team matches with experienced players. I believe players over 30 aren't very adaptable either (so I've heard) so there may be no changing someone that age or older.

SO basically in my first season in the 1st Division I'm into the Quarter Finals of the League Cup, and I've drawn..... lemme just do the draw.... LOL of all the people left, I drew Arsenal. Yeah, I'm into the 3rd round of the Uefa Cup and i'm 11th in Div 1 with a game in hand, which if I win will take me 7th. I'll post my team in a mo.
