Its not suprising to see Duece on the list at all. I doubt was trying to get stronger as much as he was probably trying to heal as fast as he could with all the injuries. Wouldnt you wanna heal faster with Bush and Thomas taking your playing time?

He has a stipulation in his contract that he has to maintain a certain weight..

None of this will come to fruition BTW.. There were like 15 players failed the same test but the two names that were released were both Saints players.. That report itself violated the NFL steroid policy because it threw confidentiality out the window, and cast judgment on them before the appeals process even began..

He is a health nut and would never take anything that jeopardized his career.. I mean, he is a local hero around here and the money he would lose not only form the NFL but from his other local businesses, which have flourished because of how many people love him locally, it would be ridiculous for him to do anything like that..

Sure I am biased cause of how many times I meet him, and being an Ole Miss and Saints fan, but this is like saying the Reggie White beat kittens or something..

I bet he is cleared of all charges..

The Rooney Rule is a joke. If theres a black coach thats good enough to be a coach, he'll get his shot. They dont need to make sure atleast 1 gets interviewed. Thats like a TV show hiring backround people and saying " Hey we gotta atleast get 1 black so people dont think we're racist ". Haslett should be coaching the Rams. If he wins 8 games this year with this team ( and possibly makes the playoffs in that horrible division ), are they really gunna go through the motions and make a mockery out of the interview process just to appease the NFL and there stupid Rooney Rule, knowing that Haslett is already gunna be there guy? Give me a fucking break. Thats a joke. What black coach in the NFL is gunna want to interview for that job knowing they dont have a shot in hell and the only reason they're getting interviewed is so the Rams comply with the Rooney Rule?

Bush administration officials will be looking for new jobs soon, and there’s another report out today that one of them could be headed to the NFL.

Adam Schefter reported on NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Morning that the San Francisco 49ers want to talk to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice about a high-level position within the organization.

Per Schefter, the 49ers’ ownership believes that Rice would make a great team president and that she would be likely to help them get financing for the new stadium they want.

Rice was already planning to return to the Bay Area when her work in Washington is finished. She previously served as provost at Stanford.

Rice has also been mentioned as a potential candidate to become either the commissioner of the NFL or the head of the players’ union.

Awesome game at Wembley Got my Brees jersey. He was pretty spectacular today actually, until you see them in person you (well, me) don't really appreciate what kind of touch and precision these guys put on their passes when it all works. Crazy intricate.

Krispy you'll be pleased to know the crowd was totally behind the Saints when it mattered, even though there were more than a few Chargers fans there. I think SD ended up with like 3-4 false starts and a couple delay of games, so we did our part.
