Finished the story today.

SPOILER: show
Great characters, lackluster story. The problem of featuring three main characters means having to put in stories for all of them. The final mission, where you have to kill Wei Cheng, Haines, Stretch, and Devin was super anticlimactic, because I barely got to know any of those characters. Didn't feel like anything except the Michael-Trevor relationship was well developed. Frank definitely got short shrift.

Still a great game though.

Nice. I gotta rebuild my cash after buying that garage and setting a couple of bounties today.

Going into the Quick Jobs list for the races kicks ass. I like that theres usually more than 12 people racing....though I wonder. Some of the names, and the fact that I'm usually the only one with a mic, makes me think that they're actually just AI players, not real people.

Not quite the same, but I tried picking one up with a Cargobob. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have much lifting power--I couldn't get very far off the ground and with police copters chasing me....

We never did get the truck cracked.

I beat Boneyard but the others I have trouble with. Can't really find the perfect hiding locations in them.

Yeah, that's key.

Best places are where enemies can't spawn behind you. For Boneyard, I take cover behind the downed stunt planes.

had a 3000$ bounty on me and a guyy with an attack heli was chasing me, I parked in the tunnel at the north east end, he got out and I was able to snipe him. drove towards his heli to steal it but he respawned and blew up his heli along with my personal vehicle.

Soooo close to just going on a rampage with his heli.

We need to do some survival together guys. I can make level 7 fairly easily myself and that's a 10k payout all the while getting free ammo and shooting stats.

This is probably something everyone does anyway but, in survival, don't kill the last guy in each wave until you go restock on armour/guns/health/ammo. Saves running around at the start of the next wave.

I prefer the more dangerous style I tend to go with. It actually works if you're focused.

I'm bored of Survival mode as well. Especially since the cover system tends to be what fucks you over, or guys randomly spawning beside you (that always looks bad). The shooting/combat system is easily the worst part of this game, I just don't even remotely have an interest in playing Last Man Standing or Deathmatch because of it. It's bad in the normal game but just complete turd online due to the lack of responsiveness and glitchiness of cover.

Races, Top Fun, Parachuting and Corrupt Cop are great (if you can get enough team members). Fucking about in Free Mode is great. Sticky bombs are brilliant.

I know I'm probably not going to look at this game again if the new Call of Duty is any good and if the dedicated servers sort out the connection nonsense.

Dedicated servers? You're serious? I decided back in March not to play CoD again, though that is tempting if it works as expected.

Rockstar states the promised Stimulus Packages have been delayed and won't be arriving until after they fix the problems regarding lost stats and progress in GTA Online.

Got all my spaceship parts today and got the Space Docker buggy. Was really hoping that thing would shoot lasers, or fly, or jump to lightspeed by the way it was built. Instead it's got an engine in it from The Jetsons and it's collecting dust in my garage. Getting the Apache back in 3 was worth the trouble. This was a bit of a let down.
