Vikings just dont seem like a good fit for him. They should just run and play defense nonstop. They'd be a contender with like Trent Dilfer or something.

Yeah any game manager will see them get at least mild success. I think Sage Rosenfels will do alright.

I don't think its that crazy to feel good about them. They had a rough year last year but they had a ton of injuries and they picked up one of the hottest coaching prospects in the NFL. Plus the NFC West is gonna be wide open, I don't think the Cardinals are going to be as good (they where only 9-7 last year anyway) but the Seahawks will be improved I think. I liked a lot of draft pick-ups and of course the addition of T.J. (can't spell his last name lol) at the wideout spot is big.

if bulger can return to form, they could turn it around. If any coach can make a difference it is Spags. They do lack a solid WR core, which was once their strength. But I think their Defense is going to be very solid with the new leadership.

NFC West sucks, I'll give the Cardinals credit for making the Superbowl but it's not like where a dominate team during the season. Anything can happen in that division

I'm just amazed that I had heard that one of the top teams that people were speculating Vick would go to was the Steelers. He's not the type of player the team likes on the field and not the person that the team likes off of it.

Everyone is anticipating such a huge media circus already around this Vick thing. I'm starting to think that it won't even be as bad as everyone is expecting it to be. Especially if takes a while longer for him to end up somewhere.

I dunno. I love the addition of Spags, and I love that they are dishing out hits at training camp already, full go. The overall attitude has changed, they actually believe they can go out there and win now, from what I am reading. Everyone is upbeat and what not. No one holding out of camp either. The new offense is gonna center around Jackson which is awesome, since our receivers kinda suck.

I think Ronald Curry and Donny Avery should be DECENT, but it kinda sucks after that. Keenan Burton? Dunno. Our offensive line looks solid though. Especially with Jason Brown in the middle, and Jason Smith as our number 2 pick. Defense looks mad good too. Stoked about Laurinatis. Or however you spell it

Oh well. Probably getting my hopes up for a 1-15 season

Avery is a year away from being a top notch number 2, and would have been better as a slot role this year....sad thing is the same can be said on Curry...

Rams are rolling with 2 top notch 3rd WRs as 1 and 2

Dunno how closely you've been following the team this offseason, other than the Cutler and Marshall bits, but trust me, keep the faith.

I was all for his hiring, then his firing after Cutler. But now that he's had time to show how he can manage this team I'm once again high on this guy. He's bringing the no bullshit edge this team desperately needed. Hell, he forced Champ to sit out the first days of camp because he didn't bother to show up in shape, made the defense AND its coaches run laps for having too many men on the field, among other things. Just give him time.

Antonio Pierce avoids indictment, and is not expected to be suspended by Roger Goodell, either.

Plax, however, HAS been indicted. Minimum 3 1/2 years in jail. Ordinarily I'd expect a famous person to pay their way out of it but Mike Bloomberg has been pushing hard to make sure he sees the minimum sentence at least.

Word from Giants camp now is that Eli Manning's agent and the team are close to negotiating his extension for around $120 million...ridiculous money, but we all knew it would be coming.

$120 million for Eli, when Peyton is making like $99 million and Tom Brady's only at like $60 million. Damn.

I'm as die hard as at gets as far as Giants fans go and that contract is way too much. I would put Eli in the top 10 as far as quarterbacks go, but he needs pieces around him to be in the upper echelon, not vice versa.

It was Lynch's second run-in with the law following a hit-and run-accident in Buffalo in May 2008. In that incident, he pleaded guilty to a traffic violation and admitted to driving off after striking a female pedestrian with his car near Buffalo's downtown bar district.
The Bills signed veteran running back Dominic Rhodes and re-signed Fred Jackson in the offseason.
