I says before I says again: It's the fucking community. IW can only do so much, and they're responses to issues were 'post-haste' compared to other teams. At some point you need to rally against the assholes ruining your experience. No company wants their game to be shredded.

Yes, I know they should have had a beta. Yes, Activision was arrogant in that regard. But still, cut them some slack. MW2 is still a well put together game. I'm being extra civil this instant, considering my current poison of the genre, but there are degrees.

And quit being pussies about spending 15$ on a bunch of maps. Activision charged nearly 10$ for a song pack on DJ Hero. They're doing this because gamers are shilling for other bullshit they pulled. So again, hollar at your constituents.

Also forgot to mention the mounted gun/One man army/riot shield glitch I encounted it on wasteland and while flanking works its annoying as fuck when your teammates are lemmings. To do the glitch, have the riot shield out, use one man army to change to the class with the riot, grab the mounted gun, when you change classes you are using the mounted gun AND the riot shield making you nigh invincible except from behind. Not a terribly bad cheat, but one that should likely have been found. Then I guess I'm the luckiest person to ever play the game, because I didn't notice it. The care package running, yes I saw that. I may have been knifed by it a few times, but certainly not to the point where I was throwing my controller or anything. Then yes you were as Requiem and myself have both stated it was difficult to find a match where this wasnt going on for about 3-4 weeks. Oh fuck off with your hyperbole. It's not "almost nothing", it's 5 maps. If it was $10, most people would be fine with it. But an extra $5, and Activison is Satan incarnate. They are charging for maps they already made, so the production cost of 2/5ths of it is negligible.

This has gone from a discussion of glitches to including the DLC too. I do not debate that the DLC is slightly overpriced. And I mean slightly. The fact that it's just slightly overpriced is why I don't care. I'd gladly pay $10 for it, so an extra $5, what I might spend on a single drink at a bar, is not a big deal. People are just going crazy because it's turned into "EVIL ACTIVISION RAPING OUR WALLETS". Few seem to care that it will be fun playing these new maps. $15 isn't much to pay for that, to me at least.

Regarding glitches, I understand frustration if you're encountering them constantly. I'm seemingly lucky enough to not have this, and I play the damn thing nearly every day. But castigating the company for taking too long (re-a couple of weeks) to fix them, and berating them that game code isn't absolutely flawless in the first place is asinine. Blame the community of 12 year olds and retards who get off on trying to spoil the game for others. Like Fig said, every game has glitches. The more complicated and ambitious games are, the more you'll see them, because it's impossible to check every single thing you can do in any game. Even if there weren't glitches, people will still find something to bitch about (IE the constant "Gun X/Perk X is so overpowered!!!!11!" that you already see on boards).

I do not have any idea about production costs but honestly how long do you think it took to make crash work for MW2 compared to the new map Salvage? I know it isnt a copy and paste but its like building a house if you want to do it like that.

Crash - framework and walls are already up, you just have to do the wiring and its good to go

Salvage - you have to dig the foundation first.

I guess you are right, it isnt there fault as sad fuckers will always look for a way to have a leg up on everyone else in the game.

However, taking so long to recognize and fix the problem is what my qualm is with it. The CP glitch was horrible and was around for probably a full month, it wasnt like boosting/MLC - CP/javelindom which was all counterable, this glitch once someone got 3 kills (with hardline) basically meant the match was over, because you couldnt stop it, or couldnt very easily. To spot it you somehow had to ninja your way to the drop location and steal the crates which was anything but easy. This ruined like millions of games because the match ending was decided about 60 seconds in.

So you either back out, take a loss and try again or play and have your k/d screwed royally due to the insane amount of gunners/ac130/choppers and harriers that were overhead.

How you never encountered this is unbelievable, as I and Req have said it was nigh impossible to find a match without it happening.

Hell I ever stated I had scavenger + cold blooded on and shot down 27 air support during the course of a match.

Also the M$ certification is bullshit, it took a fix even longer to get done.

And lastly with XboxLive, we pay whatever a month for about the same that PSN gets in terms of service.

It irks me when my money is wasted on something, thats what I am saying.

Also not so sure what all the fuss about the addition of two old maps from COD 4 is all about. I remember seeing on a lot of forums how people wanted some maps from COD 4 brought into MW2. I think it was highly fan appreciative of them to add Crash and Overgrown, when they could've of easily just went with the three new maps for 15 bucks.
