there was something that confused me at the Rockies game yesterday

Ian Stewart was pinch hit for in the ninth by Eric Young Jr, but when Tulowitzki was up in the last at bat of the game Stewart was on deck. I don't understand why that was

I'm not sure, maybe they did a defensive switch and put EY2 in for whoever they switched Stewart with that way they could have both of them bat.
