I stopped watching MLB on Fox ever since they started to push the scoreboard too far up on the screen. I don't have a flat screen or HD style TV so all I get to see is part of the pitch count and the outs number (TV is maybe 5-6 years old itself).

They are horrible when it comes to the playoffs similar to ESPN and NBA playoffs since its non-stop talking about a select few players and/or Yankees and hyping up matches they only care for.

A-Rod got hit by a Lance Burkeman hit in batting practice and was hurt. A-Rod was got hit because he was distracted by Joe Buck trying to say "Hi!" to him.

I can see a lot of opponent fans and players try to say "hi" to him as the new taunt or way to get him distracted during a game.

So basically Berkman still sucks at hitting since the trade and needed someone to be distracted to get a hit.

Theres going to be a Jay Gibbons sighting in LA as the Dodgers called him up. OMG I thought he had retired after he was on the Mitchell Report and the Os cut him in spring training with 2 years/$12 left on his contract.

But apparently he is hitting .347 with 19 HRS and 84 RBI over 97 games in AAA..hmmph

Probably none, but I'm definitley enjoying this season which was really supposed to be a down year for the club. AA has done a terrific job thus far.

Jays have the 4th highest team WAR despite having the 22nd highest payroll.

Still don't get why they traded away that Brett Wallace kid right as he was ready for his call up but I guess they have their reasons.

Kind of surprised since he barely got 2 years as coach of the team but at the same time experts and ownership over-hyped the team this year while the team itself fell apart. Also didn't help the Cliff Lee experiment failed and then gets traded to a division rival.

The Lee experiment didn't fail, the rest of the team failed around him. And with the recent clubhouse scuffle with Chone Figgins, its pretty clear Wakamatsu lost the clubhouse.

Probably the Jays won't win the wild card. I say there's 85 percent chance the Yankees get at least the wild card. If not then it's gonna be the someone from the Central. Twins/Sox/Tigers.

Agreed, sort of. All that talent they signed and traded during the offseason and right now, and he gets made the goat because they're dead last. I can also see the GM going at the end of the season because of it.

ESPN Sportscenter had the recap for today's Red Sox-Yankees game and after the 1st highlight it was all Yankees highlights. Made it seem like there was going to be the moment where the Yankees won every time but ends it with the strikeout.

I forgot all about today the game playing in the afternoon so the highlights was the 1st thing I saw. Every highlight I kept thinking the pitcher would have blown the 2-0 and later 2-1 lead.

I probably should have worded that better since I meant more of the Mariners bought Lee as a cornerstone to developing a good rotation while helping Felix Hernandez develop more into a future great pitcher. Felix is already a good pitcher but could become even greater by having Lee there for a year or two.

Similar to Jon Lester on the Red Sox benefiting a lot when Beckett came to the team since it gave Lester a few more years to develop and gave the Red Sox a stronger rotation.

Didn't know about the recent scuffle with Figgins since it probably played a big role in getting the manager fired after the team kept slumping in an initial hyped up year.
