Uhh...yeah.

Thome, who for the last couple of years had not been the Thome who hit 40+ Home Runs, has as many Home Runs as AROD and Manny combined and half as many RBI's.

What? A-Rod has 23 homers and 107 rbi by himself... that's not added to Manny's stats (which I don't know why A-Rod and Manny are comparable in this scenario at all, one is on the verge of retirement and the other is 3rd in the majors in rbis).

Padres continue to produce runs with timely hitting and have officially taken the series against the Rockies. I really hope this is the turn around I've been waiting for since the 10 game losing streak debacle.

Gotta hand it to the top of the lineup last night. The way they were approaching the plate looked like they were trying to sit back and stay inside the baseball and shoot it up the middle or the other way.

Ludwick had another multi hit game. Aaron Cunningham has looked solid in his two consecutive starts, and Miguel Tejada is playing like he's 35 again. Hope they can keep it up.

He is all ready looking a little worn down to me. He is probably going to finish with around 260 innings. I know he has hit that before, but he has never to had to pitch in the playoffs either. So I don't know.

I would like him to skip 2 starts by seasons end. So Phillies really have to bury the Nationals and Braves these next 2 series.

Isn't there anyone there that can make some spot starts? I'm sure he will be fine come October. He's going to be getting more than enough rest then. He'll pitch one game to open the series and then have at least close to regular rest for his second if the NLDS gets that far.
