I have a hard time believing a word of that Kennedy story, since it involves way too many wrestlers and too big of a statement to only leak through him.
Since Kennedy was in WWE (when that would have happened), dozens of other talents have been released. Some on not so good terms.
Some or all of them would have been there. There's no way that story wouldn't come out from multiple sources.
And for that very reason, I doubt HHH would say it to begin with. If Kennedy's going to make up a lie, he should at least make it believable. If he said this to Kennedy personally behind closed doors maybe I'd buy it. But him saying something like that on a soapbox in front of the lockerroom sounds like pure bullshit.
If it's true, you know Undertaker wasn't there.

I always felt he's been forced on us. I won't deny his talent or dedication but aside from the My Time theme, i never really looked forward to seeing him. I find main events with him are only as appealing as his opponent. Fuck HHH is extreme though. He's a welcome part of the show, as long as the show isn't centered around him.

This. Good point well said. Trips is decent in the ring, and on the mic. I've not missed him whilst he's been gone, but I wouldn't mind him coming back and getting into a nice feud with Sheamus. I just think it would be nice to see him put more of the younger talent over before he retires. (When would be anyones guess!)

As for HHH's merits, the only people who can even be said to have worked as hard as him since 2000 are Michaels, Taker, Kane, and maybe Angle. He's recovered from injuries that would have crippled many normal men. He has the respect of not only his peers but also many legends of the business. He lives and breathes for the business, unlike most IWC fetishes. And he goes out there and does what he does despite the scorn and derision of so many ingrate fans that wouldn't know talent or passion if it crawled up their ass. But go on with your hands wrapped around your hate-filled dicks, I'm sure it doesn't make a shit's difference to him. He knows what he is.

James, you're presenting opinion that he's a wrestling god. It's amazing how when he was the "top dog" after 2001, the product never reached the heights it was once at. In fact, the product and many of his programs (not all of his programs) were shit.

HHH is a great worker, but he is not a demi god and certainly not a wrestling god.

I agree somewhat with the points made here namely the fact that Triple H will never be as popular as Rock, Austin, Cena, and so on,in fact Ive often refered to HHH as the 3rd wheel of the attitude era.That being said I'd like Triple H to retire honestly he is rather stale and as someone said his 2000-2001 Title reign was depressing and I for one hoped he would break his leg or something,in short yes its time for him to hang it up. Is he good on the mic? One of the better talkers to ever be in the company. Can he wrestle? Yep but his move set his just as predictable as John Cenas in fact he added a fucking sleeper hold to his arsenal at one point and won matches with it! I guarantee NOBODY ELSE would've or Columbine won matches that way except the "almighty" Triple h that just pissed me off (Dolphs is awesome he looks intense and makes it work)

Yep great memories but I'm just sick of him mostly.


Oh and he had 2 concurrent theme songs though I'm not sure if that's cool or just ego stroking dickishness

Though I would like to point out, that as a company, WWE makes more money every year now than they did in 98 (which is widely considered WWE's best year entertainment wise). Just something to think about...and Triple H has helmed the company to this point over the last decade. Another thought to kick around.
