What? Let's do some quick math.

1,000 copies / $60 per copy ~ 16 copies of the game.
I'm assuming by new you mean a new vehicle and not just new to him. So let's say it was around $20,000.

$20,000 car / 16 copies = $1,250 per game.

It was something that I heard. Could of been a old used car that was new to him. No details, just a story someone was talking about. Didn't believe it to be legit because I really haven't found the sources, but interesting if it was. Thanks for taking the time to do the math that wasn't asked for.

This isn't just about MW3 though.. It's more along the lines of piracy in the gaming world..

It was the first thing that popped on google, along with all the other stories stating the same thing..

Jim Sterling has started reviewing everything and generally just trolling. I have no idea if this is better than BF3 or not, but I'd never trust his reviews to be honest. Everything he does is for reaction and he used to be funny, but he bought into his own hype and everything he posts now is 50+ comments of complaining usually.

Stay away from the Jim stories and it's fine. The chat on the homepage is alright too, bar a couple of douches.

That XM25 is going to be the new weapon everyone hates.

It's a grenade launcher with a track on it. So when you aim with LT and click LS, your grenade will explode when it reaches that distance that you clicked at.

no, it's gonna be down for a while probably. once you do get in, they are saying it takes something like 6-72 hours for your bonus stuff to show up in game

I don't want to turn this into an argument at all, but after hearing that you didn't experience some of the most glaring issues (issues that large groups of people complained about) in MW2, I can't help but take everything you say about this game with a HUGE grain of salt.

Also, a bit hard to tell what issues the game might potentially have since it just came out. Dunno, don't really want to discuss it at length or anything cause I'm still not going to buy it. Just got Dark Souls, Skyrim coming out, playing BF3 too. Definitely isn't a game on my agenda.

It happens - I never experienced the Javelin glitch, for example. Never noticed the infinite care package thing either.

Nah, only within a realistic time for people to actually build up the killstreaks to get the air support rewards.

I probably did run into people boosting and stuff though.

I seriously don't understand how someone can come in here and talk about refusing to play a game.

1) no one gives a fuck about your opinion. Its based on hearsay and you don't know what you're talking about.

2) you have nothing to add to the conversation. You're not stopping me from getting the game. I form my own opinions thank you. So why the fuck are you even coming to the thread?


That said. Played this for four hours today at a friends and I loved it. Can't wait to get it.
