I guess I had heard back when Disney bought Fox that they planned to make more Apes movies... but then I had heard literally nothing about it since then, and now suddenly there is a teaser trailer for a new movie....

Finished listening to that Slayers: A Buffyverse Story thing... it got... slightly better, but still not good. There were one or two good ideas, but everything was just handled badly... cringed so hard at every appearance of "Mr. Pickles"

A live-action Legend of Zelda movie has been announced.

I remember accidentally seeing the second Maze Runner film in the theater.... friend and I bought tickets to go see The Martian and then we were both late, and then went into the wrong theater. Found it strange how there were still so many trailers and commercials left, but didn't realize until a few minutes in that it was the wrong movie... and by then The Martian must have been well into it, and I didn't want to miss the start of the movie, so we just stayed and watched Maze Runner 2....

I am excited AF for the Zelda movie. I hope they make more than one though, because there's a LOT of lore to tell.

Nathan Fillion is looking to do an animated Firefly revival. No Whedon involvement and no home for it yet so we will see if this one gets off the ground.

Amazon gains full creative control over James Bond...seems not good....they will just flood with content, a Bond 'cinematic/tv universe' instead of focusing on quality....

Amazon's film division has a ton of wins. A ton of mids and some fails too but the point is its absolutely up in the air. The chicken little mentality here is based on nothing and rhats true even if you end up being right.

Fallout (which I understand is a series and not a movie) is absolutely amazing, and I've not anticipated a Season 2 out of something in quite a long time. This, though, this is so well done and I'm excited to see what they do next.

I paid for prime just for that show, and it did not disappoint. It might help I play the games too, but even without that knowledge, it's a great show.

Fallout, Invincible, Reacher, The Boys. All outstanding shows still in production. Marvelous Ms Maisel is one of my all time favorite shows. Also an Amazon series. The film side is just getting going but Saltburn was one of 2023s best films.

Amazon has money to spend and theyve hit some home runs.

Turner is an awful choice. At least with Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander, you knew what iterations they were going for. Turner doesn't look like any version of Lara.
