Seen a lot of complaining about the Attitude roster, and how a lot of them are clones of current roster etc. But most of the roster they have is the main roster for the era tbh.


I took a look at games from the era (Wm2000, No Mercy, Attitude, the first 2 Smackdowns) to see who was obviously missing. There are a number of them working with TNA now, and a few left over who could possibly be DLC or pretty irrelevant -

There are obviously a few that weren't in games around that time, like the rest of the Hart Foundation (I'd love to play as Hart Foundation era Pillman). But you get the idea.


I think they got the most important players for sure, and I'm looking forward to playing this.

Meh, I'm not that bothered tbh. The only obvious omissions that I can see that I used last year, and are still on the active roster are Evan Bourne, Tyson Kidd, and Zeke. But there's every chance the first two will be DLC. I don't think Zeke has done enough this year to get in though.

What Attidue content do you guys want to see in DLC?

I'm hoping to see Too Coll & Rikishi, Classic Goldust and maybe 'Commissioner' Roddy Piper would be cool.

I'm hoping they have a NOD alt attire for Faarooq, so I can put him with the Rock, Classic Henry and Godfather. Awesome.

Pretty much all of the names you've listed I have reasons for liking to see as DLC.

Too Cool + Rikishi, but with the hope that you'll have the Too Cool dance with a victory. Kaientai, the Hardys and the Dudleyz would add to a great tag team division and if Gangrel being included guaranteed the Brood entrance, I'll be stoked.

Do TNA lock their talent likeness rights up in the contracts? Hogan was in the LOW game while under contract and TNA don't seem to care if their talent appear elsewhere at times, not like Al Snow and D Lo are huge names anyway and neither are active wrestlers anymore.

Also fuck THQ for not featuring the HOF tag team legends Mosh & Thrasher.

EGMNow had a hands-on preview for the game recently.

Attitude Era mode has clips and footage from Raw and Nitro during the Monday Night Raw as a way to help tell the story.

Create-an-arena includes customizable crowd sizes, audience attire, stage, walls, and a lot of other stuff.

"Spectacular Moments" are a new feature and triggers when a mega spot or brutal spot is activated (ex. Taker tossing Foley off the top of the cell).

Apparently they've put a limitation on Special Ref mode. There's a meter in place. You can attack the participants/slow count/screw one guy over etc. to an extent, but once the meter reaches the top - there's an automatic cutscene in place where Laurinaitis comes out and replaces you with a regular ref.

I don't know whether that's awesome or if it's just a really unnecessary limitation.

Hopefully there is an option to turn the limits off. I can see using the limitations when you're in an online game

I think I would've liked it more if the cutscene would happen after a random amount of "rulebreaking". Sometimes it would happen after just one instance of shenanigans and others it may never happen and everywhere in between. I could see that maybe being frustrating for some players though, although I personally would probably prefer the unpredictability.

This.

It's a great idea, but it needs a little unpredictability to it to really work. It'd be nice to set up a certain amount of damage before the replace in Universe mode, for example. Or on the other hand, have matches that are complete screw overs, then have the revenge play out on the next Raw or something.

Was watching the trailers, and I must say the Austin and McMahon storyline, looks amazing. The fact that you can do the mode from Austin doing his very first Stunner on Vince right through to the cage match is damn impressive.

I gotta say, while I liked how No Mercy found a way to link actual storylines of the previous year to decisions in the story mode, I have no and never had interest in reliving events from real life.
