Not sure if it has been brought up and I missed it here,but did anyone else notice Ryder's logos blurred out in the promo package? I think it one that shows as you start Attitude Mode? also anyone else know why that would be?

Trademark issues, I believe. Same reason the Broski boot is renamed the Ryder Boot.

My favorite Attitude Era mode moment so far was watching Mankind put the mandible claw on himself to avoid tapping out to the ankle lock.

Just got this a couple days ago. Really enjoying the Attitude Era Mode and the gameplay does seem to have gotten quite a bit better from last year's edition. I like that you can climb onto the announce table again and that the moves onto chairs (DDT's and Piledrivers, etc) feel more realistic. My only gripe so far is the roster, but I think we're all on board with that - could've done with a lot more current roster superstars and a lot less multiple "Attitude Era" superstars. 3 Triple H's is just fucking stupid - could have easily made it so that you can change the costume and music for each of these superstars to make space for others. Oh well. I guess that's where the Online downloads come into play.

Haven't finished the DX story yet, but I'm liking the historical moments challenges - adds a bit more to the game play.

We'll see how long this keeps my attention before I abandon it for Uncharted 3.

Maybe when characters models were simple in like games like No Mercy could you have just outfits. Don't think they can do that now.

it has about the same amount of grapple moves. It's just split up between standard grapple and groggy grapple

My experience with WWE universe mode is the same its always been fast forward to money in the bank to get the CAW achievement and then skip to WM.

I rarely play any matches other than cashing in/winning MITB. You guys are expecting way too much out of the mode.

So, I may have missed this in an earlier post, but could somebody fill me in on some Universe logistical things?

1) Is it still four weeks of TV, followed by the PPV, with the exception of February?
2) Does it start in January like last year, or after 'Mania like '11?
3) How many match slots are available on each show? Raw/SmackDown, Superstars, and PPVs

1. Every month is 4 weeks then the PPV on the 4th Sunday and you can add shows to the days that don't have one.
2. Starts after Wrestlemania
3. 5 for Raw/Smackdown/Superstars, I think 7 for PPV

Thanks! I always try to sort of pre-book a few weeks before I get the game, but realized I had no idea what my parameters were. Can you do fewer than five? Like, if I wanted to do a Main Event/Saturday Morning Slam-type show with one or two matches, can I do that, or do I need to throw in filler matches?

All TV shows are 5 matches. Unfortunately the idea of separating the Major and Minor shows is kinda defeated when the minor shows have just as many matches.

That is weird. I guess I just need to set the major matches to epic and have short matches on the minor shows.

Minor/Major might just refer to how much a win on the show effects your momentum.

No it afffects how long the match is. Forget where it is atm. Think it's on the match up screen.

Yeah, it's on the match up screen. You hit one of the shoulder buttons to change between normal, epic and quick. It doesn't show up in Attitude mode but I think it's in every other mode, except probably create a story.

I tried it a few times. I honestly didn't see too much of a difference other than I suppose damage being lessened or something. It's probably best for simming, honestly.

Quick match is also an option, basically making a quick squash.

The idea of epic match is to have more false finishes to make it feel like CM Punk/John Cena from Money in the Bank and other matches like it.

But what actually changes? To me it just sounds like the sliders get bumped down since you'd get the same basic effect that way.

When me and my guys do a show we start off with jobber matches to kick it off. Usually one of us has to deliver a massive beating to give the impression of a 'piss break match'. In other cases, when we have our main events and PPVs, we add a lot of semi-staged spots and false finishes to simulate big matches.

The new options regarding how matches are supposed to be directly appeals to us and people who care for that. Yes it is essentially a fighting game handicap slider, so fucking what.

Calm your tits, I was just wondering if that was it or if there were other things considered in the "epic" match selection, like certain features being affected like easier to break submissions. I actually like the idea.

I haven't tried epic mode yet, but it is probably that. So, it's the convenience of not having to do that and then change it every time.
