Gamestop is "reviewing my purchase" or some bullshit, so I don't have my code yet.

Year 1 legendaries are dead for PvE. Work just the same in PvP, until you get Year 2 purples (which have started to adopt the more interesting year 1 exotic perks).

Completed the Court of Oryx quest. So fun.

Picked that up this afternoon after a pointless visit with Eris. Unless she kept track, I knocked off all the guys in the Court with my buddies last night.

Finished the House of Wolves quest. Bummed out by the ending, but the payoff made me somewhat happy.

I enjoyed the demo they released, and a lot of the changes sound awesome.

So I downloaded clips from my xbox profile and wanted to do something closer to my Halo clipshows. I do like the transitions of the xbox editor tho. Trying to find a happy medium. Anyway, thru this together. Crucible riff raff.

Just did my first mission on the Moon last night. The views can be breathtaking at times.

They have done an amazing job on this game for sure. Pulse rifles are fun

I rolled Titan my first go and LOVE the shotgun play so far. I was stun locking a Devil Captain(?) with it and had enough ammo in the pulse rifle to finish him.

I am in no way familiar with the names of guns being dropped yet, but I am just level 7 - long way to go and plenty of time to learn. If the game stays as fun as it has so far, I will be playing for a while.

Bungie trying to get players to use the pulse rifles more. Which is why they got a very generous boost to the stats in 2.0.

And Guycott, Bad JuJu or Red Death are great to have. Got carried over to Taken King and have some of the more unique perks.

I got copious amounts of Bad JuJu (... there is a pun there that translates to real life, but it isn't relevant here), and it does the trick when I need some quick super boosting against mooks, but it's stopping power has always been pretty shit, even after boosts. It was one of the lesser pains in the ass to complete bounty for, and I think I've gotten at least twelve of those minimum.

Never really got on the Red Death train, even though it can sort-of counter Thorn assholes in Crucible play. Rather use my exotic elsewhere.

The perfect stability on the HP nearly made it a 3-burst scout rifle, then they did the range tweak which knocked that back a bit, but then the the damage boost to get people into pulses. Brutal midrage slugger. I hated not being able to change my scope, but that was a small price to pay for tight firing with super light recoil. As such, it took skill to pull off headshot bursts, but you're rewarded with accuracy without having to worry about muzzle jump AND strafing.

Starting to hit the somewhat invisible wall of light progress. Just cracked the 290 light level and heroic strike runs aren't yielding high number gear that should be dropping.

Anybody having luck in the Crucible? Thankfully I got a few of my old guns saved and wondering if I should spend some time in there?

I just got the Year 2 Bad Juju recently and I 'replicated' it for my other two Warlocks. probably gonna run Bad Juju as a primary until some badass Legendary or Exotic makes me mix it up. I just can't get Red Death to work for me. Don't have a need for it's signature perk in my playstyle.

Nope. It would have to be featured in some way. It could be a good way to nab Year 1 exotics giving you a way to unlock their year 2 versions to buy.

That sucks because thats just useless content in a sense now. I wouldnt mind doing VOG from time to time but with no reward why try? Sure it could give you year one yellows, probably not any more likely than just getting a year two exotic.

This is a problem I have with it. Instead of increasing content over time, now we have less to do than 2 weeks ago. Newer content sure, but less.

Vault and Crota are around just for completion/collection purposes. You still gotta run 'em on hard to get the Mythoclast and Crux. However, the good thing about both is now that we're much stronger, you can get a group of guys together and try to the perfect raid trophy/achievement or whatever it's called.


As far as the arena goes, you can run the bosses and try to get all the ships and shaders. However, I'm not sure how you score the tokens now that there are no Wolves running around anymore. Petra will still give out keys for leveling up the Queen's Wrath, but that's it.

I think that's lame to sell a full bundle for more that includes the original game not as it can be played. Dunno. I get it but hoped they would handle it differently.

That is fair. Just feels like the old content will be dead if it isnt already. Like how many new players are even trying VoG? That said, ill be doing it to have more chances at Hawkmoon so I can ascend to year 2.

Also jut noticed there is a hand cannon for sale by FWC that is basically the Fatebringer.

Took out Sepiks Prime for the first time last night. One of the fockers in the game went AFK from the start so me and another player did it 2-man.

I like the "boss fight" feel. That fight was fun and for the gear I had, a bit of a challenge.

I would hope so, being a level 8 encounter.

Can't wait honestly. It wasn't the easiest thing in the world, but wasn't overly difficult. Felt good and looking forward to future, more difficult encounters.
