I'd go in a heartbeat. Hell I went to Smackdown in a heatbeat, and its no where near as good as RAW, but it was still awesome live

Yeah, the shows are fun live. I've been to every show here in Ottawa since 98 and only one was what I would call bad.

Damn I loved how that Raw ended. I didnt like the fact that Orton lost but I liked how Raw actually had a main event that really didnt feel rushed and was able to stay on long. I was impressed with Flair tonight. All that time and he really still does have it in that ring. The only thing that I didnt like was that Flair never really got the win over anyone. Sure he pinned Edge but that was after the RKO from Orton. Its been forever since we have actually seen Flair beat some one with the figure 4.

I cant wait till next week. I have a feeling that Triple H is gonna job to Eugene. I cant believe they are raising him up into the heavyweight spotlight so early. I think its great and I love the comedy he brings to his matches and in his segments. Tonight had to be one of the best segments of all time..

I'll admit I pretty much only saw the main even and the HHH/Eugene segment but from what I it looked like a good show. I'll probably rewatch RAW at midnight and see what I missed.

Raw was OK, I like the submissions that Gail used ( ), and I know that im not gonna like this Lita thing, hopefully it'll end the same way it did with SMH. And No Coach . But it was OK.

One of the better Raws in a while,besides all the commercials and Lita's pregnancy. It is the start of new fueds and stories and they all seem to be quite interesting. Great job,Spike on allowing the time for the ME. And also great job to everyone here for another great Raw thread. This thread and margaritas = Better Raw Experience.

I've been to a show before: Raw Xmas show,2002 (whichever year it was that was the year they were building the return of HHH after his quad injury). But yea, it was a good show even if there was barely a match and watching it back on tape was abit meh. I probably go to this show,but I'll just get some cheap seats in case.

today, as in presently, not in the history of raw though, just right now, i really love the move, i even used it on friends a couple of times

WEll the smackdown show I went to only had 2 backstage segments I believe and one of them was the dudley tell taker to listion to heyman so it didnt seem like a backstage segment.

KaneKnight, I meant to say "one of the better Raws when compared to the last 2-3 weeks".It is just that awhile for me is nearly a month. I'm horrible with numbers.

Yeah like I said,the thing that really killed it was the giant ad for Joe Schmoe. If that didn't take up the show,it would have been a better show. Then again, there would have been some other thing to bore us in its place. Never have I hated a show as much as I hate Joe Schmoe 2 right now..and it's not even on yet.

RAW was decent tonight. I still enjoy it better than SD especially since I got to see the ppv last night. Probably the first time in 2 years I have been able to watch a live PPV.

Anyways, opening segment was good. Looks like they are finally gonna end the HBK/HHH feud, especially when HHH said " I hope Shawn is ok". Though they hyped the HIAC as one of the most memorable matches of all time, I don't actually remember a real memorable moment from the match.

It was best they gave the main event an unexpected extra 20 minutes since they spent probably that much promoting Joe Schmo.

And, as many people predicted, Lita is gonna be freakin pregnant with Kane's kid. Why do they have to keep doing this? It will end up with Lita losing the kid, probably due to her being hit in the stomach area. Or like someone else said, she's gonna give birth to Kane's mask or something.

Incidentally, I'm a fan of Orton.

I just think that the WWE shouldn't shove him down our throats. Give him some time to actually show people how great he is, instead of forcing people, so they end up getting bored by the forcefeeding.

I agree, now I don't think he sucks by any means it's just that he's still pretty green to me, and the RKO just doesn't do it for me, the way he does it lacks impact.

personally, i think he's good in the ring. perfect? not by any stretch of the imagination, and on the mic, he's still way green. but give him 3-4 years, and he could easily be close to main eventing

Exactly, he's 3 or 4 years away from being ready for the ME. In the ring he's not bad by any sense but he's still green there too. His mic work is ok but I agree with you that he's green there too. I just wish they weren't shoving him down everyone's throat because in the long run it's going to hurt him I think

Lara I gotta agree with you here, look at how Brock Lesnar ended up. He was pushed to the moon and got stale faster than Dark_Kane's retard gimmick. Back in the 80's and early 90's guys were built up over a period of a few years (see the Rock, HHH, Bret Hart). Nowadays fans want to see people built up quicker (see Lesnar, Orton). I prefer the older method, as you see the wrestler develop into a main eventer and be able to carry a company if need be.

Yup, though I prefered Lesnar to Orton but it is very similar.

The problem is, he's already high up on the card. He main evented tonight, albeit with a group. He's bignews, but he's not ready to be big news.

zach does not have that much rep yet (10+)
whereas i feel his push has been bit much for someone like him, if you're going to play the "legend killer" angle, there's no way you cant build up the guy to be huge. if you dont, but still have him beat those sort of guys, it makes the "legends" look terrible. now that that idea has kind of cooled down and he seems to have fallen into a more "no one respects me" sort of gimmick, i think itll be a good way for him to slow down, learn the ropes some more, play the midcard with guys like shelton benjamin, and eventually jericho. from there on, which should be at least 2 years later, i think he'd definitely be close to main event calibur. the kid has insane potential, he's just pretty jagged around the edges right now

I thought Raw was above average tonight. The HBK-Kane thing was good. I'm guessing they will feud when HBK comes back. If done right, it could be awesome. And really, I could not be more sick of Benoit. Please get that damn title off of him, Triple H!
