I do get a bit of a "jobber vibe" from him even though I know he's being pushed for great things.

At this moment in time, I personally don't see what's supposed to be so great about him other than his age. He's 22 (Damn, I'm old. ) and that's about it. So far, I've not seen anything else that's so great about him and it doesn't help that whenever he's on screen, we get someone, be it Lawler, Cole or a Superstar, saying all these nice things about him but all they can really say is that he's a "nice guy". They just say it in different ways.

Like Ultra Mantis said, he's just a bland babyface.

I think part of the reason I hate him is because he reminds me of Bray Wyatt's existence and it makes me want to see Bray Wyatt.

Only seen him in the rumble and on Raw but he seems really bad. He's probably the ugliest guy on the roster and his spear is the the worst spear I've seen.

From what I’ve seen of him, there doesn’t appear to be much potential with the guy. But, then again, remember how ridiculous and bland everyone thought Cena looked in his first televised match, and nobody thought he’d make it big?

TBF, although Cena looked very “vanilla” for a bit, even I have to admit he looked 1000x better than Dallas when you compare their debut looks. However, I didn’t really start thinking Cena looked great until he started with the street thug clothes and his chain necklace and the throwback sports jerseys...now those were the days!

I loved Cena when he debuted. Then again, I'm always pretty optimistic when it comes to new guys - probably something to do with them not being tarnished by indifferent booking.

Totally different story with Bo Dallas, though.

I have nothing against him but I also didn't really pay any attention to him on NXT, seems alright, bit generic. They obviously like something about him, need to see a bit more

so here's how it goes. build the Bo Dallas up to be the underdog clean cut nice guy with a bit of intensity type for a while.

slowly but surely the camera start catching him acknowledging a large fellow in a hawaiian shirt in the front row more and more during his matches.

Bo starts losing matches after being distracted by the guy in the front row, to more jobberish people.

after a couple of cost victories, Bo confronts hawaiian shirt guy who this time happens to be wearing a straw hat. while they are nose to nose either side of the guard rail, a massive foot kicks Bo's head off from the side, and a guy in a green jump suit brings a rocking chair into the ring.

Bray Wyatt then jumps the guard rail and hits his neckbreaker thing on Bo, before getting into the ring and sitting down on the rocking chair.

Eric and Luke drag the limp Bo Dallas's carcass into the ring and hold him up in front of the chair while Bray cuts an epic promo on how it's now HIM that's the black sheep of the family, and holding on to his little keepsake is holding him back etc.

Luke (or Eric - whichever one has the arm with the glove on) bar's his arm and bray rips the glove off. Bray pockets the glove and tells Bo he'll get it back when he's ready to do the family it represents proud.

Luke and Eric throw Bo to the canvas, and the three of them leave.

thus the feud begins and we actually get a half decent back story for the kid as opposed to a "he split his kidney and came back" sympathy run

So, what you're saying is that after 5 years of being "groomed", he still sucks that much ass? Even OTUNGA has improved in great strides in that amount of time.

I think the thought is that he has that look that will get him over as the new Jeff Hardy (girls scream when he takes his shirt off; etc.) His gimmick is mostly the fact that he has "the look". I almost pity him. He's way too "new" on the scene to be garnering X-Pac heat already It's not his fault he's getting a push he clearly isn't ready for... but to be from a wrestling family and in the business this long, you'd think he'd be better at this..


And by the way, "Fallin' Up" era Black Eye Peas were fucking great. First two albums ("Behind The Front" and "Bridging The Gap") were good stuff; cool ass hip-hop albums in the vein of stuff like A Tribe Called Quest. Then they found Fergie, started wearing TRON vs Mad Max inpired apparrel, and lost their fucking minds.
