i don't know if i can get behind that. worry that he will suffer from the same problem clooney had in the role. like awful movie aside, batman and robin was never going to work because i just couldn't believe clooney was being anyone other than clooney. it's all part of a wider objection to casting renowned actors in these roles. i want to look at the screen and see batman, not ben affleck in a batman suit.

The faster people realize that this is not going to be Chris Nolan's Batverse, the better off we'll be. Already I've seen an inordinate (even for the internet) amount of bitching about this. I've never understood why Affleck gets the shit he does. He's a good actor who's turned in some excellent performances. I'm fine with this.
