Just somehow managed to glitch my way to a Battle Royal win in My Career and it wasn't even my fault. Winner of the match gets the last entrance into the Elimination Chamber, got to the final two with Randy Orton and he threw me into the ropes and chased after me and landed a Lou Thez press. We were tangled in the ropes and after a couple of punches we slid out of the ring, him first on his knees then me on my back. We both ended up outside and then I was declared the winner. I just sat there and thought.....I'll take it.

Fucking glitched on me, wiped out everything but my career, including all the unlockables, so i'll need to do another career to get Regal etc back.

If you check out the whole conversation, there’s a bit more to learn. There seem to be quite a lot of Benoit community creations, and they’re all subject to deletion/bans at this point. “How do you think that’s OK?” asks Stephenson.

Is anyone okay in this situation? I’ll try and remember everything I can from my semester of Media Law And Ethics, but that was at least a year and a half ago. So, if you buy a copy of WWE 2K15, it is YOUR property and you can do with it as you like. But the way I understand it, the moment you decide to play online or upload shareable content, you enter into an agreement with 2K Games. It’s sort of like the iTunes terms and conditions in the sense that people just click “OK” so they can get to the good stuff, I suppose. But how specific are the terms in this case? Is there an explicit “Thou shalt not face-map Chris Benoit” clause, or does this fall under a more general blanket of “offensive content?” If that’s the case, who gets to decide what’s offensive? And why is this just now an issue when people have been creating Chris Benoit characters on WWE video games for years? In the meantime, the Reddit community is pointing out just how disconnected this feels, citing facts such as…

•You can totally have your custom wrestler introduced as “The Rabid Wolverine”
•Benoit’s matches are still on the WWE Network, although you can’t search for his name
•“I’ve seen face uploads of Hitler [in the game]. Chris Benoit is literally worse than Hitler.”

Ugh, what did I just say about calling people Hitler?

Really enjoying proper matches so far. I say proper, because "real" guys are so hard to beat at the start of career, that it is an ordeal that involves me constantly dropping out of the ring and taunting and trying my best to avoid finishers until I get my own. Slowly improving though. Just won NxT title for the 3rd time, beating Sami Zayn for the first time..

Wanting to go heel so have brought in a manager, but no progress yet!

How do I unlock the NxT guys? Is it only after I complete career mode?

And when will my guy start to "feel" like a normal wrestler. Am at 65 overall now and on Superstars, does that seem ok?

Still spamming moves and stomps etc... just to stay in matches.

Ended up getting this sooner than I thought I would. I've become such a dickish NXT Champion, first sign of any trouble with my opponent and I just get myself DQ-ed.

They unlock as you progress.

Depends what attribute you build first. I beefed up stamina + stam recovery + momentum a bit and then went all offense. I have now maxed out everything (but you can increase the cap) and rated 96 overall. Took some time though and I still have challenging matches.

Well...after deciding to wait until a price drop to buy it, I'm likely to be getting the game for Christmas anyway. Seems like the reviews of the gameplay are mostly positive. A few wonky things but nothing gamebreaking.

Saw some pretty sweet New Day edits someone posted. Just so I'm clear...you can't download other peoples' edits, right? Only CAWs, logos, etc. Thought I read that somewhere. So to make the New Day for instance you'd need to download the logo and make the new attires yourself?

Will hope there are some attire guides out there if that's the case. I've always been atrocious at making my own attires and such.

Won the Elimination Chamber match to win the World Heavyweight title and immediately lost it in my first title defence. Got promoted to Raw and then lost my title rematch. Soon after I went into a two month feud with The Wyatt Family and have the big ppv match against Bray in a steel cage.

Actually you can download other people's edits. They save as a separate CAW, but if you go into personal information, you can set the CAW as an alternate attire.

Not really good enough this career mode, is it? Am now at 97, and on Smackdown and just have warm up match after warm up match, occasionally with a two week build to a meaningless PPV match.

Honestly about 50 warm up matches since I started. Probably more like 70 tbh.

Angles are way to short and insignificant. Has potential, but was obviously rushed out on this occasion

Had the defend the title option forever then Vikki says I'm not defending it enough so I'm now going to defend it in the next 4 matches. Won the big gold belt and back to filler matches.

Still haven't captured either belt. I was put into a 4 way with Cena, Bryan and Orton and was ripped off by Bryan. Cena hit the AA on Orton and as I went to break the pin, Bryan hit a back suplex, preventing both of us from breaking up the pin. That ended my chance for Mania.

I did get to pick the Rumble for one of my PPV's this next year though. Hoping to win it and go on to Mania. Still on Smackdown! trying to move up to RAW.

I need to turn face before going to SD/RAW. I went heel when I was NXT Champion and haven't laid into anyone with a chair since. I respectfully honored Regal's wishes as well like a good boy, still no bump in Face level.

I heeled it up for 4 straight matches once and tipped the scale slightly. I don't know how to go back to face tho.

Well, apparently if this game has taught me anything it's that my reading comprehension sucks....kept wondering why I wasn't doing the Plancha OMG moment in a Who Got NXT match and finally read the hint screen long enough to realize the opponent needs to be against the ropes, not in or on top of the turnbuckle.

It's one of those things that really should only get better as the series progresses, we all said that with Universe mode too I know, but if there was more to do as opposed to just gathering social media followers to move up it could be amazing.

Yeah, it has massive potential, if it becomes an open thing with constant storylines and choices and no cut off point, then it will be great. This version though felt "empty". There just wasn't enough in it and it was a chore in the end.

Playing through showcase just to unlock things (don't have an internet connection at the moment). HHH vc HBK is one of my all time favs so enjoying reliving it, but I agree, it has been done to death in recent years. 6 man tags are almost impossible to win in this. AI come steaming in, but no effort from your side to stop them, and you can't tap the pad to change in showcase, it's a nightmare.

Universe is what I em excited about starting, really enjoy getting it up and running and just playing through it whenever I have time.

Its more the "heres a storyline" for two or three shows followed by "we've nothing for you" for months on end even with a title.

Yea, that is a downfall of the career mode. I was NXT champ and that is the only belt I have even had a shot at. Other than that, a Heisenberg heel turn story that lasted 3 shows and "HHH being impressed" once in a while, nothing happens.

Biggest room for improvement in the title I think.

On Year 6 now and getting a bit bored, need more storylines or title shots. Last story I had was at the Rumble against the douche who wouldn't release the Boston Crab waaaaay back at the beginning when you go for the try out. It was a pretty shit story, he said something on social media and jumped me after a match, I then jumped him after a match and then had nothing for two weeks before a lame match at the PPV.

Had Vickie come up to me and said the Authority wants more variety in matches on Raw, so made my next four matches cage matches......
