Honestly, the most disturbing thing from that whole episode was Bram making out with that chick in full clown makeup.

I guess I can understand just sitting back and enjoying something without thinking about it, but I watch a WRESTLING program to see WRESTLING. That last "match" was a terrible WRESTLING match. They just really seemed to gloss over the reason anyone knows who they are. At least in Lucha Underground, while the stories are ridiculously over the top, the WRESTLING action is top notch. They should really sort all of that shit out quickly.

Agree, the build was funny as hell. I expected the match to be more brutal but I liked it. Nothing in WWE is that funny except a few New Day promos.

Was struggling a bit when they were actually "wrestling", but once they left the ring it started to pick up.....

Think the whole thing needed to have more "banter", more like the "final battle in a superhero movie" and less like a "wrestling match".

Still, I dunno man.... I may have skipped most of the show, but I kind of want to tune in to see what Matt Hardy does next.

Just watched the director's cut during lunch rather than all of Impact after work.



This is it, man. Just close up wrestling. There's no where to go after here.

There's a place for ridiculousness like this, and the fact they've committed to it has made it "work." Two or three hours of this would be atrocious, but twenty minutes of intentionally bad over the top shit can work.

Glad Sharknado was brought up because yeah, it fits that hole nicely. But something awful does have a level of entertainment that becomes non-ironic. I've watched this 4 times already because I'm blown away by how seriously it takes itself and then it just stops being terrible, but you just find yourself appreciating it.

I guess it's angle of the year, I don't think you could really call that a wrestling match. It was just pure entertainment.
