I like both Bliss and Carmella. I think Carmella needs to drop the "My name is and I am" part of her character so she doesn't sound like an Enzo rip off. I like the division as a whole and feel it's better than Raws.

That's probably the most annoying thing she does.

But I do agree with you on the division being better than Raw's. But I'd say that I find it to be better due to the way it's being utilised and presented. On SmackDown, all the women are being showcased and given matches and mic time, whereas over on Raw, it's pretty much just Charlotte vs Bayley or Banks the majority of the time.

I'd say the same thing about SmackDown's Tag Team Division too. It's better than Raw's.

SmackDown's division is fucking terrible. RAW's isn't much better. I'm not going to count Paige, since she's out, but Charlotte is the true fucking star of women's wrestling right now. Sasha Banks is the most over female they have. Bayley has the potential to be. Nia Jax is on the rise as a monster and Alicia Fox is, at the very least, better than Alexa Bliss and Carmella. Her "crazy" personality is a bit cliched, but they actually don't usually turn it up to that level in that direction. She's a more distinct personality from the "I'm so great" Diva heels on SmackDown.

Summer Rae is probably better in the ring than Carmella and Bliss at this point, and is the "original" bitch heel of the NXT wave of girls. Lana has got star potential, but she may not be as good taking it into the ring as Maryse was, but at this point in time, Maryse isn't even an active competitor.

The one good thing about SmackDown's division (besides Becky Lynch and Natalya being there, of course) is that without Charlotte, Sasha and Bayley -- the stars of women's wrestling -- they don't have the same narrative constraints that RAW has. But with Charlotte beating Sasha at SummerSlam, they've kind of jumped from the Charlotte ---> Sasha ---> Bayley story anyway.

I also have the feeling that SmackDown is going to be the Nikki Bella showcase in time. She can't hang with Charlotte, Sasha and Bayley so they carve out this niche for her on what is basically a developmental brand for women to eventually go to RAW when they have exhausted the options over there.

Biggest mistake was putting Bayley on RAW and not on Smackdown regardless of the circumstances. Bayley on Smackdown instantly beefs up their Women's division star power and RAW doesn't get too top heavy like it is right now.

Right now Smackdown's division is pretty much the Women's division midcard and Becky as its only real big star. Not counting Nikki with Becky mostly because she's rumored to be a part-timer now and last thing Smackdown needs is the division revolving around her soley because of Total Divas/Bellas again. Becky needs to be the one who has the division revolving around and as the centerpiece to build upon.

I don't like the idea of Becky and Bayley on the same show. They feel too similar to me. I would have put Becky on RAW with Charlotte and Bayley on SmackDown with Sasha. Nikki is obviously going to return to that brand too. I like the dichotomy between Paige and Bayley, so I'd include her on SmackDown too.

She's got that quirky girl charisma that makes nerds like me think she's accessible. She's also adorable.

Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch from NXT Takeover: Unstoppable is probably my favorite women's match ever. She also has good shine in a Fatal 4-Way for the Women's Title at one of the Takeovers too.

I do get the complaints though -- she's a bit bland as the smiling lass and her ring work becomes very...stale when she's working face. Can't remember a good feud she's had though, so maybe give her a chance to see how she does when she's got heat with someone that isn't "Grr, I'm a bitch."

Calling it now: Despite my initial criticisms at the onset of the division, Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch will become one of the hottest rivalries in the company. This is because people know Nikki Bella has got ties to Big Match John and they're aware of how she got into wrestling. They're also aware of Becky's story and how she's been swept over by the company.

It'll start off as "I'm a better woman; no I'm a better woman" like every feud Nikki Bella has ever had, but there will be this psychic tension behind who gets to be the top star of SmackDown that enhances it. Not being Sasha Banks and having to compete with Bayley, and not being Bayley and having to compete with Sasha Banks will also help Becky Lynch, with fan investment on SmackDown going almost entirely towards her.

She will be the Daniel Bryan of Women's Wrestling by the time we get to WrestleMania Sol.

Natayla is the only women on Smack down I don't like. She's boring in the ring and the her acting skills are horrible.

If I'm honest, I really think Nikki Bella has improved leaps and bounds in the ring from where she was even a few years ago. Yes, her massively long record-setting Divas Title run that just so happened to occur right after AJ Punk left the company as the previous record holder felt really forced, and her relationship with Cena didn't exactly make it transparent. I'm sure if Cena were fucking, say, Summer Rae or Alicia Fox, then one of them would have gotten the huge push. But Nikki at least seems to give a shit and hasn't been a total disgrace with her matches. She seems like she's tried to learn the last few years when the first few years of her career her role was clearly to look hot and that's it.

Not saying she's at the same level as Charlotte or Sasha or anything but I think she can hold her own. Nikki vs. Becky I think has the potential to kick ass and not be a total carry job.

It's also worth noting that Nikki literally doesn't need to wrestle at this point. She had a major neck injury and there really isn't any reason she'd need to return because Cena's got more money than God anyway. So I give her credit for trying to continue her in-ring career.

I'm sure most of the internet will shit on the push she receives no matter how she does simply because of who she's linked with romantically but I'm willing to give her a fair shot.

You think I'm trolling you. I'm not. Carmella is shitty as fuck. I'd definitely rather watch a Bliss match over a Carmella match by QUITE some margin. Also, Bliss's character work with Blake and Murphy was awesome. I've enjoyed precisely zero things that Carmella has done in the wrestling world.

I've posted about how sometimes wwe makes a series of wrong choices in an almost comical fashion, but with Styles they've actually done well for him. No nxt. Main roster. Rumble. High profile feuds for a legit talent. Didn't (hasn't yet?) Gotten "Cena'd" after their feud. Good stuff.

I figure he will lose the feud with Cena once Cena returns but he should be holding the title when that does happen.

The only thing I didn't like about AJs run was him losing to Jericho at Mania.

I agree with this. That SummerSlam finish to the Orton match makes me pretty fearful that they're going to give Randy his heat back, though...unless they're building towards a heel turn with him.

Bray will be saved once Harper and Rowan comeback as his family. He also needs to win a match at some point.

Would be nice if during the RR Bray is in the ring then Stroman enters, clears the ring for Bray, and then eliminates himself. We all know by the RR Strowman will be next to nothing so they can act like Bray still has mind control going on.

Wouldn't be surprised if some residue effects from RAW being pretty meh also carried over.

Then again the only real meaningful things about the show was the Usos heel turn and finding out who would be in the Tag finals. WWE pretty much undid the latter by tossing out the Alpha-Usos match.

Man, I totally don't get the love for Alexa Bliss. She's got that "wrestling underwater" thing that a lot of the old Divas used to. I wouldn't fire her or anything, but she lowers the credibility of everything she touches. In a backstage segment she can be fine. Maybe as a manager where she only has one thing to think about she might work. But fuck's sake, her work these past two weeks has been ATROCIOUS.

If this is a Women's Revolution, they need to exorcise all the old problems with how women were perceived. They can maybe have ONE Diva. Like a hot girl that can't wrestle that well but slips in there anyway. Nikki Bella is still a Diva to me. So it's her or Bliss. Nikki's not going anywhere, so it has to be Bliss that moves down to NXT to get better. Maybe she can be more humble this time and babyface herself off Peyton Royce and Billie Kay? That might be worth a watch.

If you have too many hot girls that can't do good shit lined up, it becomes the fucking Diva Search all over again.
