I know you play games, but do you collect?
Talk about your collection or post pics of you collection in this thread. I'll do the same soon. Mine is a bit of a starter collection. Not more than 50 games total atm. Tell us about your favorite game collected.
It dont matter who did what to who at this point. The fact is, we went to war. And now there aint no going back. It's what war is you know? Once you're in it, you're in it. If it's a lie, then we fight on that lie, but we gotta fight! |

Those are what i do.
I cant post a pic of what i have atm because i need to put it on a shelf. I'm just like that. Seph really helped me out in the PS2 games. He sent me about 12 games that are all awesome and i'm still playing. Finishing up GoW2 right now. Seph is my nigger. |

I used to moderately heavily on PS2 but kinda got over it pretty fast. I am hoping to someday track down a copy of NFL Blitz: Pro as I loved all the mini-games and game modifiers.

I don't really have any physical copies of games, less than a dozen. Most of my games I download.

Yeah that worked out really great for me too. I got several PS4 remasters of games that I either missed or really enjoyed the first time around with that code. Also got a bunch of games my kids love and considering how short the attention span of children can be the fact that this added several games for them to toy around with is awesome and buys me some time before they start constantly wanting every new game again lol. It's really awesome for my 8 year old to play some of these older ps2/ps3 era games anyways because he loves "retro" gaming which seems really odd for his age. He cares nothing about fancy graphics and newer gameplay facets; he just wants to play something and have fun. He gets a kick out of DESTROY ALL HUMANS. I Love it.
Also had a couple old school style adventure games which my wife enjoys, so that's another benefit to it. I got what I wanted from it just from the Darksiders games. I never got to play the first one, but the second is one of my low key favorite games. Now that I played the remasters of both I am super ultra mega hyped for part 3 later this year. |

Had an extensive collection. It wasn't nearly AVGN extensive, but it was masive. Fairly sizable library for most of my systems from Atari 2600 to then-current gen. The systems I kinda lacked depth on were GameCube (I pretty much bought it for the then-exclusive Resident Evil remake and Zero - X-Wing, Metroid Prime, Pikmin, and the Super Gameboy Advance were icing on that cake) and Dreamcast (it was a gift, and after getting through Sonic Adventure and RE:CV, it became a machine I used to get my Chu Chu Rocket or occasional Crazy Taxi fix).
Pretty much lost most of it when I moved back this way. Hindsight would have had me sell most of it off, but the plan was to go back with a truck a few months later and get the rest of my shit. Still have a few Playstation/PS2, 360, and XBONE things now. Yeah, I can emulate most of that stuff now, but it isn't the same. Especially since my NES had to be one of the few left that I had ever seen that still had the door. For the life of me, I never understood how people broke those. |

I'm sure use by countless children over decades combined with probably not the sturdiest door on the classic model probably accounted for a lot of those cases.

I wish that I had collected instead of trading most stuff in, I had a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga when it came out but traded it for penny's to get a PlayStation. It's now worth about £300, should of kept that.
Also had an extensive Atart ST collection but when my parents split up and sold their house I have no idea what happened to my stuff, been missing about 15 years now so I'm guessing it ended up in the bin. |

No, it wasn't a masterful piece of engineering to begin with... but that still doesn't mean you open or shut it like an asshole. I understood that when I was 7, so I assumed other kids did as well. I must have given them too much credit.

What I miss the most, oddly, are my handhelds. Every system had at least *one game* I liked playing. Even dusted off my original GameBoy periodically to play either Fortified Zone or Solar Striker in all their simplistic, green shaded glory.
