No way that Kofi vs Rollins Winenr Takes All match is going to end with either guy taking both belts.

Would be insane to give Kofi just a 24 hour reign and Rollins dropping the belt would make last night and his feud with Lesnar meaningless in the end.

The only reason they have separate ones is because they feel that they need them on house shows, but when you've got so many they don't matter, so house shows don't matter.

I can totally see Kofi losing though. Can see Seth floating around for a while, and I can see them thinking he needs "help," and not really having faith in Kofi.

They could become more important. Samoa Joe might end up headling SmackDown house shows as its top heel and Balor might even mean more on Raw (actually, I see them swapping, just because the US Title would fit the USA Network show more, but maybe they hold it off). Maybe the plan for the Superstar Shakeup (provided they haven't just forgotten about it), is to have Raw and SmackDown unified, so the big "shake-up" is getting SmackDown guys on Raw and Raw guys on SmackDown, with some NXT and NXT UK talent getting called up?

It only works if they have brand specific PPVs, to build the title defenses around. That being said, come the Big PPVs they are forcing themselves into multi man matches on at least Summerslam, Survivor Series, and ROyal Rumble.

If they plan on triple threats at Mania so each brand gets a challenger, that kind of makes the Royal Rumble Match pointless though.

I would one day like to see a heel Kofi Kingston as a militant heel champion. The timing is not right. But I think there could be something to him growing paranoid about being WWE Champion and plans to sabotage him and keep him down.

Man, fucking up the title match is so predictable -- no one is going to be shocked by it or feel cheated enough to invest. It will be such a *groan* moment. It'll be like 1999 WCW. Subvert that and give people an outcome.

Truth be told, I don't think they're even talking about unifying the belts, which I think they should, but even if they put both belts on Kofi and Bryan wins the Universal Title off him in a few weeks or something, then he's back to SmackDown. Or Kofi can lose the WWE Title so the Universal Title means he's on Raw. Something that doesn't cheat the fans out of an outcome tonight.

This would be ridiculous, but it wouldn't surprise me if in the draft Hawkins & Ryder are swapped for The Usos, so the Raw Tag Team Champions are on SmackDown and the SmackDown Tag Team Champions are on Raw.
